Why no carbon fiber hoods for Standard cars is it hard to add it? just wondering

Standard cars have been modeled with the bonnet and almost the rest of the body as one single part. The spoilers and wheels are separate from the main body and are therefore changeable.

Premium cars have been malso odeled with bumpers and side skirts as separate elements from the main body hence why some of them can be modified in those areas as well.

A new model would have to be created with the bonnet as a separate element from the body in order for a CFRP bonnet to be available.

Interesting. But this brings up the question: is there a way for PD to just "paint" the hood black, with no need to model it separately?

Would be nice to have carbon fiber hoods for standards, but it's not really needed right now.

Without knowing how GT was created, or how its code can be edited, we don't know. I'd like it, and I'm sure it's something that'll be looked at for 6, but who knows. Everyone wants a livery editor, myself included.

Standard cars are basically copies of stuff in GT4, so the whole car (bar the wheels) is a set model that can't be edited. But to be honest, no carbon hoods is not a loss as such, given that most cars look ridiculous and ghastly with them when they're not painted.

I think that's because the carbon hood is in HD, while the standard cars are not.

I think the weight you could take off wieth the carbon hood is included in another weigh reduction without us knowing that we have to pay more for premos.

They wont add it because texturing.
