Welcome to the CAROL POWER event!

This time, we will be taking the Carol 360 Deluxe to the track.
This event is open to anyone.

Schedule:
Saturday 12 July 2014
11:00pm BST / 6:00pm EDT / 3:00pm PDT
Duration: About 1 hour

Car Requirements:
Car: Mazda Carol 360 Deluxe '62
Tires: Comfort Medium Tires and Dirt Tires.
Tuning: Prohibited
An oil change is permitted.
Optional: Paint work for the body and rims. “Inch up” rims are allowed.

Race Regulations:
All aids off except ABS
Blind Spot Indicator is permitted.
Grip: Real
Slipstream: Weak
Damage: Off
Boost: Off
Tire/Fuel Depletion: Very Fast
Race Finish Delay: 60 Seconds

Race Procedure:
Host: BrandonW77 (PSN)

Send a friend request to BrandonW77 on PSN well before the start date, as the room will be set to "friends only".

The Lobby will be open about 15 minutes prior to the start time. Participants are encouraged to arrive before the start time.

Before we start, we will have a quick visual check. This means that every player will announce how many participants they can see on the track. If a player can’t see as many participants as the others can, they are encouraged to leave and re-join the lobby.

Qualification: A 5 minute "Race Alone" qualification is permitted on our first track; Autumn Ring Mini.
Reverse Grid Order for the rest of the races.

Race 1:
Autumn Ring Mini – 3 laps

Race 2:
Red Bull Ring Short Track – 2 laps

Race 3:
Tsukuba Circuit – 2 laps

Race 4:
Special Stage Route 5 Clubman – 2 laps

Race 5:
Toscana – 2 laps

Rules:
Participants are to follow the GTP OLR Rules.

These power events are the only races I can actually beat you kling :cheers:.
Except for that one ferrari race which wasn't really legitimate. I don't remember if I beat you in that one vcrc race in the Europa. I remember it was a great race though.

I appreciate that coming from you. But I'm probably really rusty because I haven't raced online recently. I've gotta try to race the Enzo next weekend.

No, the event will be happening on the 12th of July for about an hour. Please read the OP :)
 
i read that part but i did not know if there would be more races next week
 
Ah, these events don't happen very often. We've only had 2 so far since April, using different vehicles. This will be the third event.
 
gotcha. well, i run an endurance league at 8 so if we actually can get this done in an hour, then count me in!
 
some cars even allow you to put a wing on top of the original wing.....those are interesting!

One week to go. 10 participants is a good number so far, but it would be awesome if we could have more.
Nonetheless, I'm looking forward to this event :cheers:
 
I do a ton of time trials at Suzuka Circuit and thought you might like to see this!

100% stock except for Sport Hard tires. Tire wear off, fuel consumption off, ABS 1.

18 hp / 7,000 rpm

216 pp



The question is do I like the car enough to want to race it? I might join, but don't hold me to it.
