Hello everyone,
Last night I received a call from a friend who told me that in his neighborhood, on the other side of town from where I was, a Carrera GT was parked. I was nearly an hour away when I received the call, and thirty minutes later I showed up - to find this.
A few months ago I saw one of these on the street and no one believed me, for obvious reasons. I've called this car "the reason I carry my camera everywhere" and, indeed, I've finally done what I set out to do.
The vehicle was parked at the corner of Florida Avenue and Ogden Street in Denver, Colorado, in an unassuming, young family-oriented, liberal neighborhood with low crime and even fewer rich people. There's exactly two Carrera GTs in Colorado, both silver (both registered to the same owner, I believe) - this one had Arizona license plates (438-SHJ) from a Scottsdale dealer.
For those of you not in the know, the base price of this vehicle is $448,300, and it uses a 605-horsepower 5.7-liter V-10, while weighing just 3250lbs. I'm not entirely sure, but I believe yellow to be one of the rarest colors; there may be just a handful of yellow ones in the country.
Behold:

Anyway, let this be a lesson to everyone: always carry a camera, digital or otherwise. You never know what you might see.
