As I have already mentioned on this thread https://www.gtplanet.net/gt5-online-service-maintenance-coming-feb-12th-14th/, some of my premium cars are missing from my garage. More specifically, all premium cars purchased since April 4th ,2012, including DLC cars and GT Academy prize cars, are missing.I have no idea how this happened. The previous night everything was fine, but next day cars were just missing. I'm not sure if this is somehow related with the maintenance took place on Tuesday, it's the day the cars gone, but I'd appreciate any help. Any chance to get them back, especially the GT Academy cars, and if so, how???
Thanks in advance.

I loaded the game Tuesday and it said could not find server. Then it went ahead and loaded the game with out me telling it to do anything. I had over 1,900 cars in my garage and after the game loaded tuesday morning at 11:30am est it showed I had 4 premium cars no standard and no favorite. Looked at A-spec level and B-spec level and it was at 0 for both. All 60 gold licence test were at 0 also. But it loaded on my log all my trophies it loaded 57 of them one after the other . It also still showed that all A&B spec races were complete all with gold trophies. Quit game and reloaded it still no cars. Quit again and looked at my saved utility data and it showed my gave save at day 1. Looked and found my flashdrive with a game save from January 21 2012 and loaded it got my level 40 A&B spec back all 60 licence test back and 1,700 cars back. Still don't have none of the GT Academy cars back. Still don't know how this happened but I'm like you I think it has something to do with the maintenance they were doing Tuesday. Sure wish I could get the GT Academy cars back. My saved data utility shows the GT Academy gold medels at 40 but no way to load the cars back in the game.

Not sure what to say about the OP, but you the GTA cars, they can be had at the market place. Last years GTA cars that is.

So, I'm not the only one having such a problem.Let's hope they'll solve this problem with the next maintenance, but I'm not sure they will do...

It seems to be a user issue, If you read what EAO-HarleyMan wrote, he said he reverted back to a backed up save file to get it working again.

If I were you, I would back up your save file to a USB drive, delete it from your PS3 (MAKE SURE YOU BACK IT UP), run GT5, it'll ask you if you want to load from back up save, select yes. This will load up the GT5 back up save file that it creates. It might work, try it out.

The reason why I suspect it's a user error, it sounds like it didn't save your game properly and corrupted the save file (I've had that happen once). It's not really a good idea to be online while maintenance is going on, things can go wrong!

The fact is that I wasn't online but I won't disagree that it must be some kind of user issue.Anyway, I was lucky because I had a back up in a USB stick since September and I did, in a way, what you described. Backed up my progress until today, just in case, and load the older one.Thankfully the GT Academy cars are in this back up.I just have to race some of the seasonal events again. That's not that bad.
