Yesterday when I tried to play, I upgraded my Maserati GranTurismo S '08 slightly, then tried to race in A-Spec. When the countdown was over, the car simply sat still revving it's engine. I tried all the different buttons i have attached to "gas" and got the same result. It also refused to Reverse, just sat still revving. I went out to Practice mode, detuned everything I could, and tried again. From the rolling start it does move, but it seems to have lost all it's low-end torque or something, as it topped out at about 99mph speedwise, and the previous day this same car was doing 150-something easily. I got into my fully-tuned Buick Special '62, which I have not altered in probably a week since I finished all the upgrades, and which also worked perfectly the previous day, and it ALSO sat still and refused to move. From a rolling start in practice mode, it goes to about 114mph in 4th gear and just can't seem to muster up the power to go any faster.
I know the update to 1.03 came through yesterday, I'm wondering if it has to do with that. I was not signing in online to play, but the other person who has a profile on this PS3 does sign in every day, and his game still works fine. I signed in this morning hoping that would fix the issue, but it did not. My cars still don't move from a stand-still.
Should I re-install the update? Un-install the game entirely? Please help!
