Cars that are a challenge to drive.

it's still not torque steer, just plain vanilla understeer. And non-tuner Skylines tend to 4-wheel drivt more than understeer, at least with the setiings I have.

RGT drives perfectly well with NA3/620+hp without TCS. And Evo 6 and S4 are actually the fastest with TCS off, both putting out over 500hp as well.

The cars that really get me are the overpowered rear-wheel drives. I'm doing the enduros atm and 'just for fun' took a skyline with ~900hp. The power oversteer almost killed me :irked:

I'll change that around a bit and say that all cars handle like a dream if you drive them right.

If i've found a car to be too under or oversteery i try work out what causes it and without changing settings or anything i try out different lines etc and eventually i get to the point where i can drive it competitively without changing anything.

The Audi TT, Pagani Zonda's and the C-West Silvia all handle quite good.

I'll wholeheartedly agree with a stock Aston Martin V8 Vantage as being quite testy... a lot of fat + a lot of grunt = one senseless pig. You usually get a feeling that the nose is wandering wherever it pleases (if you can figure out where it is, since it's so big), and there's not enough weight on the rear wheels to keep them from lighting up at inappropriate moments.

While I would've agreed with the Speed 12 if asked less than a year ago, I've driven it enough that I really like it, even if it does need more traction. The Zonda is another car that less than a year ago, I would've considered it sloppy, but now I think its handling is pretty close to brilliant.

I'll also agree that relative to the R390 and 787B, the Toyota GT-One is quite a handful. My issue with it is that it seems a bit "floaty", as if the tires aren't always in contact with the asphalt.

The Mercedes CL600 can also be a bit of a nuisance to chug around, since it also suffers from a wandering nose and no rear traction.

your sky must not be set up right. even at over 1000hp it's completely controllable. as are rwd Viper and RGT. although all three don't brake too well at that point.

People, how can you say that street Zonda handles well? The thing understeers like nothing else and has no brakes.
That's what I used to think, but not anymore. The main reason that people have those two perceptions of the car is that they don't realize just how fast that thing accelerates. Also, there are some slightly unrealistic expectations put on it, because it's a production supercar, which there aren't very many of in GTP that are up to its level, so many compare it to race cars, which makes it look bad.

It does understeer a tad, but not a lot, and its brakes are actually fabulous once you learn to keep them from locking up (which is easy to do, with that false perception of its speed).

Good one, I forgot about the Viper (the orginal, not the Concept, which is pretty easy to drive). The Viper's handling is a bit sloppy and unpredictable, as if it loses its balance sometimes.

I drift my skyline so oversteer=:D I have done the enduros with no asm or tcs annd fully modded. I use either sims or super slicks.

How do you set them up to oversteer? At best they seem to be able to do four wheel drifts. And running enduros in 1000hp+ boats with no tcs and on sim rubber seems a tad masochistic to me. :D although I suppose that using sims is the only way to make tire last more than a couple of laps. :D

Speed 12, no TCS or ASM, at SSR5 (Wet)
Now that's a challenge.

Now I second that. Nerve racking!
