Cars that are painful to tune in 3k?

I'm looking for a bit of a challenge guys. Today I managed to tune some pickles of cars for 3k and did a pretty good job even though I'm still learning a bit.

Nsxr
R390 road car
Nismo z z-tune (yet to prove latest tune)
Infiniti fx45

What are some other hard cars to tune for this distance?

Like 1/4 (sometimes) but in my eyes needs more skill to win online. (more exactness needed)

all fwd because i dont tune those lol

and basically most the cars with a peak hp or tq (way)before redline, its hard to gauge how long or short the gears have to be

My sl600 is trapping in the 250s maybe a weak 260 (might be my cien that hits 260), I THINK (don't hold me to it :lol:). Early max hp and 5 gears = pain in the ass to tune.
If I have time later I'll give them a go and see what I get man 👍

I'm very keen to try the zonda 7.3 out for 3k. It looks to have a lot of potential

I only know 1/4 mile fwd but in sure it's very similar.

Maybe trans max close to 200
And 1/4 sus set up without any toe
 
yeah i have no problem reaching a good top speed in those cars, its the launch and gears in between that suck

lets test out tunes the next time we meet, i rarely run those cars because i hate tuning them lol

Yeah I think my 600 might be a second gear launch

Mercedes really needed a 6 speed back then. They hate 6 gears? It's either 5 or 7 :lol:

My nsxr was I think just under a car off mafias :D
(not sure if to ran this tune, it had a rebuffed suspension)

If I crack fwd 3k I'll be sure to give you some tips :lol:

For me I always seem to have a lacking 4th gear but a strong launch (must be a 1/4 mile tuner thing)

sl 600 you definitely need to launch in first, need all the gears you can use since they only give you 5 lol

My second isn't fully left though. So it's set like a 1st gear launcher. I could be thinking of a completely different car though :lol: I've been tuning heaps the last few days

Anything that has too much grip to launch with a lag-free top speed gearbox is a pain to tune for 3K.

Exactly right, but I'm looking for specific cars haha
 
I recommend the Zonda 7.3 it pulls like crazy at higher end. I have mines set on 195 for the 1/4 mile, cant imagine what that car can do tuned for 3K
Or if you want a bigger challenge, tune the Zonda R ;)

Zonda R would be easy.
Long gears quick shift second launch.
High front low back
Springs 10/10
Dampers 10/1
Dampers 1/10
Anti roll 7/7

Aero min/max
Lol 85% of it is transmission
 
what does the stiffer rear(high rear compression) do with the zonda r? is that just the suspension to use for wheelie tunes?

Yeah wheelie set up cause it has default downforce and is fast. I need to properly test it tho

Haha my attempt blew. It hit 5th n was like 'yeah I don't like going over 180..'

Mind you wheelie tune was far better up top
