Cars with Matte Black paint?

Any cars in the new dealership that has matte black paint?

As far as I know there is one car that has it:

Lexus LFA.

Are there any others?

The car you speak of has "Matt Black." No car comes from the dealership with a paint chip that has the word "Matte" in it. 👍

I'm not trying to be mean about it, but yes, you are wrong. Please look at the link below and you will find that "Matt Black" and not "Matte Black" belongs to Lexus.

For all intents and purposes, they are the same; some people report having noticed a slightly darker hue out of the Gran Turismo colour versus the Lexus, but on my screen, the little preview shape looks identical with either, and I can't tell for sure when the whole car is painted.

However, they are indeed spelled differently. Given the sheer range of colours in the game, it's not impossible that some will match others.

It does, check the link I posted. When I said no car comes from the dealer with "Matte" in its paint chip name, that's all I meant. Two technical Matte colors are available in the dealer, just not with the word in its name.

On this subject, nice job on that color database SlipZtrEm! I don't know how much help you had, but I read through some of it before I sorted it to link it, and it sure was impressive 👍.

The majority of the ground-work was my doing, but I had help from a few members in varying degrees, either sending me hard-to-find colours in the pre-1.06 days (when all UCD finds always showed up in the same colour), or helping me fix up some categorization problems. Also, now that we're essentially done, finding out which cars don't actually give out paint chips (The RS6 Avant '08 doesn't give out its red, and the PT Cruiser won't give its white, for two examples).

I'm just over 200 unique paints away from a complete set, which was the ultimate goal - the Database just grew out of a desire to keep my own collection organized!
