Hey everyone! I'm a new user from Finland! I've played GT3 about 71% and haven't seen any car with seven gears. So... which cars have seven gears? I'm just wondering about that because in the gear settings there's a adjustment for seven gears.

my Diablo used to have 1 forward gear, which acted like 6th, and 5 reverse gears.
there is a way to get 7 gears in the US version, i think. you have to find the .ini of the 7-speed transmission.

Yeah thats what you have to do.

I was lazy and just used the arta NSX tranny which is 6 gears. Mind you I was using GTC 2001 and MK`s program seems to hate putting the correct gear ratios on most cars on concept.

i used the Altezza LM, since its the widest one i could find. are there any other trannies that stretch further?

The Lister storm tranny might be suitable, its pretty wide. I just decided to use a JGTC nsx just because I thought it was the most suitable.

I'm playing the European version of GT3 and I'm not using any sharkport- or whatever system. But that sounds pretty interesting... hybrid cars with 60,000 hp! Can you guys send some pics of these hybrid cars?
But why there's seventh gear inluded at the settings if there's not any cars with so many gears (except hybrids  )

there used to be a car with 7 gears, until the Diablo JGTC was removed from the final release, due to licensing conflictions. and, to save some time getting GT3 out (which had already taken quite a while) PD neglected to edit the 7th gear setting feature out.

In GT2 there is a Supra with seven gears. Might be the Castrol Supra. But it has seven, I swear. I drove it.

i believe the Supra you're talking about is the race-modified RZ from the original :gt:. and yes, it does indeed have 7 gears (not like you'd ever get a chance to use them all).

!
in GT2, i think it was the race mod supra rz that had seven gears

Urm j2s ur wrong im sorry to say
It was the Castrol Supra GT in GT2 and i think GT1 that had 7 Gears, but in GT3, theres obviously one gear less. It just shows the Supra as a real performance car, lol.
my head goes BIG
