Cars you mistake for other cars

Simple as that, just post cars that you always confuse. Like i confuse one of these four cars for a different one of those four cars.

First up, there is the Nissan Skyline V36, which is available as an Infiniti outside of Japan.

Then, there is the Nissan Fuga, which is also available as an Infiniti outside of Japan.

And, there is the Nissan Teana/Maxima, which, since its only available in Russia and similar parts, can't be an Infiniti.

And lastly, the Nissan Bluebird Sylphy/Almera G11, which also isn't available as an Infiniti.

There is a car i often mistake for a Tesla model S, but I don't remember which one it is. It might be some sort of Audi.

I quite often mistake the Chevy Prizm rebadge of the Toyota Corolla.

To OP your essentially getting mixed up over badges because those cars are actually the same.

The cars in the OP shouldn't really count because like @mustafur said they are basically the same car sold in a different market

That said, I still have problems telling apart the new quattroporte and ghibli

Also, I mistake quite a bit of pre-1920 cars and some 1950s american cars as well

I think the most noticeable changes are the headlight "eyelids" a little to the side on the Quattroporte (along with slightly... angrier face). On the rear, the Quattroporte has more squared taillights with less angle.
And then there's the actual size of them; it's pretty noticeable. But yea, they look really similar.

Yeah from head on I can tell from the lower part of the bumper and the thinner headlights on the Ghibli and the rear is pretty easy but at first glance it's still hard, especially in pictures

Tesla Model S, any variants.. I first guess that it's a Jag or Maserati, then I see the badge and notice that there's no engine sound whatsoever and go "Oh.. meh."

From afar, you really can mistaken the SS for being a Malibu. Especially in the usual silver, black, or grey colors.

Almost any BMW, Mercedes Benz, Audi, and any other company that builds cars which look the same and use an annoying letter-number naming system.

I'm also terrible with cars from the 1950s-1980s.

Annoying when they launch a new model that is a coupe-estate-SUV-saloon mix to fill an already tiny gap in the model range. Then call it something like the CL245i M-Line X-Sport Bluedrive Efficiency.

The Audi A7, probably. It came out before the Model S. They both have a similar fastback shape.

I know they're within the same lineup, but I have trouble telling the AMG version of the Mercedes CLA apart from the plain old 250. And I usually don't have trouble distinguishing regular and AMG models.

As for completely different cars, I don't know. I have sometimes on occasion had trouble telling apart the Maserati Ghibli and Quattroporte. Though I've only seen one current gen Quattroporte, and a few Ghiblis.
