I've raced against the Lupo Cup Car. One of the drivetrain layout challenges in Beginner League. I believe the FF, 'cause I whooped it with a Vitz.

Haven't raced against a single Lupo cup car. I don't think I even knew it existed until I won one. Can it be viewed in the VW car dealer?

Excuse me? I was replying to different posts by different members. I didn't know that there was a limit on the number of posts on this forum, or that you were a moderator.
 
Generally, at most forums, it's considered poor form to multi-post...there's nothing that says you can't quote and respond to several other posters in one post.

And though daan may not be a moderator, he is a well established and respected member here. It doesn't always take a moderator to point out post etiquette issues.

And this is how you quote multiple posts. Click quote, highlight it, right click and copy. Go back, click quote on the other post, click in it and right click > paste. You then have both quotes in the same post. Simple, and it doesn't annoy the mods like multiple posting does.

Try doing the seattle endurance, that's where I remeber racing it.
 
You race the Cobra in the American series sometimes as well, as for the Lupo, you race that in one of the FF races. And Cug-a-bug, you don't race against the Spoon S2000 at all, in the dream car series you race the S2000 LM race car.

I've raced it before, not sure where though. It may have been in the arcade mode, or the german touring car challenge, one of the many grids. I've also seen the tickford missle into a wall, again might have been arcade mode.

The only car I've never ever seen show up on the grid in sim mode or arcade mode is the Nissan r390 road car. That and the tuner cars (non-race), the spoons, nismos and mugens), though you do see the spoon s2000 race car once in a while.

The Lancia races in the rally league, in one of the final races, I know I've raced it there.

Or maybe my memory is all wrong! :sick:

I didn't say anything that I considered was rude I was simply questioning your comment. And since I'm new here I wasn't aware that I was in breach of some unwritten rule since I havn't read every back post on this forum. And if "correct manner" mean bowing and scraping to you then you can forget it.
 
Maybe you're new posting to to forums or bulletin boards, but multi-posting is frowned upon nearly everywhere. If this had been in the Rumble Strip, you'd have been heartily slagged.

Knowing daan, I'm positive he wasn't expecting any bowing and scraping, instead, he was pointing out that demon was politely contrite...one doesn't have to bow and scrape to admit a "my bad"

Frankly, your remark about him not being a moderator was a bit cheeky, considering you are new here, but since you are new it can be overlooked.

But let's move on...you know a little more how things work now, with no skin off of anyone's hide.
 
The road Gt40 is in the MR amateur league races.
 
Ive never raced the Mines Lancer, 3000GT, Celica GT-four, Viper GTSR, Speed 12, RX-8. Umm, I think thats about it.

I'm pretty sure that GT40 road cannot be run by the AI at either of these, as you cannot enter that car in these events...

I know that at times the game puts a ringer into a race (witness, the C5R which can show up in the Amatuer/American series), but I'm quite sure the GT40 Road car has never appeared at either the PD Cup or TM Enduro.

The GT40 Road Car does make an appearance in the game as an AI car. I know, because I've raced against it a time or two. It was in the MR race in the Professional League.

I can confirm that, just did an MR Pro race at Trial Mountain yesterday, and the GT40 ran me close to the finish against my Motorsport Elise.

I know I've seen the Speed 12 in "Like the Wind", and the Lupo Race Car in the Beginner FF races. I have seen the Spoon S2000 (not the race car), Mine's Lancer, Tom's X540 Chaser, and all the RUFs in the SuperSpeedway Endurance race.

So there's about 6 cars that we never race against? Not bad compared to GT2, where I counted about 150 cars that the AI never uses.

Nissan R390 Road Car
Toyota GT-One Road Car
Spoon S2000 Race Car
Mazda RX-8 (?)

I'm not sure about the Lancia Delta...have I raced against it or not? Nobody's given a definitive answer yet!

(Oh, and let's stop whining about a double-post that quoted two different people. We've all done it before; so if it really bugs you, send him a PM, and move on with your life, people!)

The Volkswagen Lupo Cup Car does exsist and can be raced against in the BEGINNER FF CHALLENGE. You can win in the AMATEUR GERMAN TOURING CAR RACE. And as live4speed most correctly said:

I'm sorry if these one's has been mentioned already, but what about the Beemer 328ci and that cruddy Acura 3.2CL TYPE S. I've never been up against those two.

Oh. That Spoon S2000 rules. I won the Seattle 100 Miles with it. It's a beutiful car to drive. 👍

I've seen the Mine's Lancer. Beat it in Pro League Race of Turbo Sports at Midfield Raceway, as well as the Lotus Esprit Sport 350, in........ a 281HP '89 Yellow J-Limited Miata that I won for the Roadster Endurance, finally!!! So it definitely gets an AI drive.

The BMW 328ci appears in the Passage to Colosseo Endurance Race. If you get a field without the Renault Clio Sport V6 or TVR Griffith 500 in, the Beemer is the fastest car in the race, and its monstrous fun to have a go at beating it in the Mini Cooper! 👍

You'll race both the 3000GT and the Celica GT-FOUR in the Professional 4WD Challenge.
