My Corvette C6, the engine sound just kills the whole experience after race-modding:banghead: I only kept it for a few races, then gifted it away:yuck:

Another one is the Lamborghini Gallardo: Understeer central, have to work to prevent it going off into the runoff accelerating out of each turn:scared:

Gallardo? Really? My fully modded gallardo is a blast to drive...my bob crashes it all the time though...
my one real regret is the cobra - it is now impossible to drive in a straight line and every turn ends up a spin, my bobs can't even get it going stright for very long...
good thing I won two cobras!

corvette c6, I regret putting on the chassis bar thing you can't remove. drives like **** now gonna have to buy another

You can adjust the drive to 90 for the rear wheels for the gallardo. That way it will behave like a rear wheel drive machine, probably the closet you can get it to behave like a gallardo balboni!

Jokes aside (though I really did mod a 49 Beetle) I'll second that with the 458. Completely ruined it. I can generally handle the twitchiest of big rear-wheelers but this thing handles like the rear wheels have been swapped for ballbearings.

Peugeot 207 GTi. It's ugly and you cant do anything about it. The only reason I modded it was so the seasonal race would be over faster. :yuck: The bright side is, I still managed to profit from that race. :D The downside is, I have an ugly Peugeot in my garage. :yuck::yuck::yuck:

Only ones I regret are the ones I put upgrades on that couldn't be taken off. I went back and bought most of them already so I could still have them stock.

Ferrari 430 Scuderia and the 458, tuning it to the max transformed the prancing horse to a buzzing bee. Bought them again without any tuning on it. Nowadays I don't tune any car except for Impreza's and such for drifting.

Doesn't sound much worse than the stock Cobra to me :P

The Cobra is a blast to drive but not something I'd rely on to win me an important race. And I learned right quick that Bob can't drive the thing to save his life. I left mine stock, saw no reason to tune them really since I just wanted to experience the car as it was.

Can you set the transmission to stock? Thats what normally the noise

Yeah you can change the transmission to stock, but then it would still have the weight reduction and I only want stock supercars lately. I thought the sound was due to the engine tune stages and/or the air filter though? (Can be completely wrong, I'm not a car engineer xD)

The exhaust and engine tuning does change the sound, but the adjustable transmission also makes a noticeable change, too.

Lol you dont need to be an engineer, its gt5. All the fully cusotmizable tranmission have a really loud whine to simulate what real racing transmissions sounds like. Imo they should have allowed you to ajust the final drive without the whine which ruins the natural sound of every car.

Anyway in gt5 it also depends on what view you are using. 98% of the change in noise in bumper view will be from the tranmission. From the outside view you mainly hear the exhaust changes

I modded my GT Academy Nissan GTR V-spec to enter it in a bonus online event, but then I was told it wasn't eligible as it wasn't a Nissan GTR V-spec. lol. I'd like to revert it back, but it looks like I'll have to redo all of the license tests with another PSN... or someone could gift it?

My fully tuned Shelby Cobra... It's like a jet engine under a thin ass wooden horse carriage.

My R10 Stealth...
accidently buy the chassis reinforcement.
After that, it handle like....you know.

I fully tuned a Cerbera Speed 6 and ruined it , it wont slow down.

Im going to gift it to a friend for a laugh.

I am surprised to see all of these cars listed. I have many with every mod possible and I still like them all. It is all in the tweaks. :)
The only car I hate after mods is the Mustang Cobra.

458 italia what a POS, my 2010 Impeza is quicker....no drive out of the corner, just wants to go sideways, ive got my AE86s for that :)

I sorta regret taking my viper to stage 2 engine tuning :/ i can just buy another and do it over again.

The 458 sounds horrible w/ the exhaust upgrades. I just leave it stock... it is very easy to drive with a wheel, doesnt feel overly tailhappy. Much easier to drive than the yellowbird.

I like the transmission whine in some cars, because it kinda sounds like a big twin screw supercharger is under the hood. My Challanger sounds like it has a Kenne Bell on it, which I like because I put a supercharger on it, and it sounds like it has one now haha.

I forgot what SUV it was but I was about to upgrade another car when I received some kind of SUV and accidentally jumped into it. Went into the shop and started buying up everything. Went into another race and realized that I cannot enter because the "SUV" could not enter the race.
