I just saw a really bad one-

Heres someone's Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione-

Just... eww.

But what if someone did that in real life?

I bet this would be their story-
"Well, my dad gave it to me for my 17 1/2th birthday. It was cool and all, until the old guy on the british car show Top Gun said that it was the pretiest car ever. Im a man, I can't drive a pretty car! I had to get that into the shop and tune it up! Now its sick in neon green and 800 horsepower! Who cares if only 500 were made..."

I would want to cry if I saw this irl.

So, has any one else seen a monstrosity?
 
I know someone is going to say any chrome car.

I did some strange stuff with some of my GT5 cars, BECAUSE I can do it in GT5 and would never do it in real.
A NSX RM in deep pearlescent orange with dark blue aquamarine metallic rims. It's disgusting, but I like it.
I guess it's that small amount of tuning option that somehow turns some players to do the most extreme possible.
I bet, if GT5 would have a ton of visual tuning options, there wouldn't be that much odd things happening (relatively).

Oh, and another odd car I own. A dark pearlescent purple F40 with metallic black racing rims. Really disgusting. And then, with ultra fat stance and super low setting, tuned to the max. I really don't know why I do that. I bought a brand new F40, never touched it, 0miles on it, just sitting in my virtual garage. Maybe that's how I say sorry to Mr Enzo for the r****ed F40.
 
That Alfa Romeo is glorious, I don't know what you guys are smoking.

Its cars like these that help make GT5 interesting.

That car is awesome just because its goofy.

I mean the rims are the color of gum thats been on the bottom of your shoe for a couple of weeks

I couldn´t agree more. Some people can´t tell the difference between their Honda Civic and a car like the 8C. They just go nuts, like: "lets drop a huge turbo on that baby!, Lets put a huge wing and some crazy paint" without no respect for certain type of cars.

I love every single car there is, no matter if its a Civic, or a Veyron, but to me, feeling the car how it came out of the factory, its what makes the car passion so great. Feeling every unique machine and its differences. Is like when I see a friends GT5 garage... every single car, tunned to the max. What fun is that? There are slow cars, and fast cars, thats the beauty of cars. But one thing is for sure... there are all awsome!

BTW, I have nothing against visual customization, as long as it respects the car´s type, manufacturer, tradition or history that the model might have had. You just don´t do that to an Alfa Romeo.

I painted my Prius matte pink, and gave it bright yellow rims.
But then again, it's a Prius. Didn't really change how good it looked after all.

No, I'm sorry I don't know every single forum, subforum, and thread on GTPlanet. I hope you are talking about one relating to the real cars, not the GT5 cars.

The one I remember most clearly is an orange Corvette with color-shifting purple wheels. The driver chased me around trying to bump me off the road.

There's only going to be around 500 and out of all people to choose from, Lexus had to choose the !@#$% Paris Hilton as one of them :grumpy:
 
Basically, anything that comes in pink. People probably do it to annoy other people only and no guy in their right mind would
A) waste money for that IRL
B) want to be seen in something like that

I think a (slightly unnecessary) spoiler looks good on an Evo or Impreza though. :-)

That GTR ^ isn't too bad though. I personally would paint those rims black but Red isn't too bad either.
