Caterham have finally unveiled their 2014 challenger, the T05 via Twitter:

Thoughts?

At least it doesn't look like a... I mean its.... erm... If you look at it froOH GOD NO MY EYES!.... Moving back, we could....

Caterham stopping at nothing to reach the front.

That's an intersting nose design. Wonder how it affects the aero.
Minimal affect, which could be good or bad. It means less bodywork at the front of the car (less drag) but I happen to bet that the clean (unconditioned) supply of airflow will not be utilised as effectively rearwards of the nose... Time will tell on that one, but there is a reason the other teams did not revert to the simplest interpretation of the rules...

Stepped nose and anteater extension? Bold move.

I was about the question the fragility of it before seeing the low angle shot. Let's see if it gets them any closer to the points this year.

Need to see this moving, but I'm quite intrigued. It's like they've said, "Sod it, the front of the car needs to be this shape, so we'll just slap this underneath here." Kind of works for me though.

A combination a step nose and a not-really-but-kinda-sorta version of the schlong-nose.

Agreed with @axletramp on this one, need to see it in action.

More interested in what is going on at the rear of the car, but attention of course on that front at the moment. The front wing itself looks insanely busy with so many profiles and vanes on it.

Definitely seems to be aimed beneath the winglet, whilst others are exiting on top of it... Cleverly integrated the monkey seat into the pylons though and it looks to be sitting further back than others as well.

In a strange way, it has something. But in that same strange way it really looks weird.

Still not as ugly as a penis nose, or that awful FiAt.

That's the worst thing I've seen since my cat brought in a dead bird, eviscerated and ate it, then vomited it back up into the carcass.
Thanks for creating a mental image there :boggled:

Does that mean the front wing will be easier took take off do you think?...or harder?!

It looks like a prosthesis.
And it seems that the engineers were lazy and put that "nose" only to pass the regulations.
