Does anybody know any good, free programs that will burn MP3s to a CD-R? I have Roxio but when we rebuilt the computer it got deleted and now it won't work. My only choice is to use a program that will only burn .wav files, which is a pain in the ass.

wrong forum

windows media player will do it 👍 - just a bit confusing to do right

Yeah, but if I put it anywhere else, nobody will read it.

Let me rephrase my question:

Does anybody know where I could go to get a good, reliable, free CD burning program?

Another vote for Nero from me.

I got it free with my computer (or, more specifically, the CD-RW drive). But you can (self-censored due to possible AUP violation) off KaZaA...

he said FREE...you can spend time with the nero demo, but if you want FREE, use windows media player. it burns things just fine (y) - I use it after reformats when I'm too lazy to download/install Nero

If you computer came with Roxio installed on your comp when you bought it, then it will be on one of the install disks, possibly called "Applications"
I also had Roxio, and it wont install on the re-format but you can install it after using the "Applications" disk?

iTunes will do it. You'll need at least Windows 2000 to run iTunes I believe. And if you have a Mac all the better.

I've never used the burn function in it, but I assume it works well.

I give iTunes several thumbs up. I didn't like it at first but now I think it's great.

I use to use CDRwin or something along the lines of that name a while back on my 2k box. . . It was very reliable and it was free :D

It still doesn't belong here on the Rumble Strip. You also will immediately stop talking about downloading pirated software on this forum.

Like, as in, NOW.
