CD verison of GT3 compare on DVD

I'm struggling to understand the question too, but I think I get it. Are you asking if you can save games onto a DVD copy of GT3? In which case: no.

The only way you can save to any media other than a memory card is to get a Gameshark/Sharkport/equivalent, which lets you save to your PC. Once the data's on the PC, you can do whatever you like with it.

ok...back to the Subject of this thread...i know that the CD copy of GT3 doesn't have the intro...and the other movies in arcade mode...and u know how when u go select a course to race...they have a little clip....yea they dont have that either...and some of the music is cut...and i think the replay graphics are a bit better...cuz i ahve the cd copy...and the dvd copy...

from cd copy can u load ur save on too the dvd copy..if its both english verison..?

its only burnt.. so only if u have mod chip on ur ps2..

there's a regular cd version?? because ps2 games are on regular CD and DVD's rite? wow, i thought gt3 only came on DVD....

theyre called cd-rips - and theyre NOT legit games, they are very much pirated copies

so... officially, it only comes on DVD, but pirates can sell cd-rips(that work in modded ps2s) for a fraction of the price of full DVD-copies cos cdr media is cheaper

and in order to do that they condense the data(ie: remove video clips, music, etc;or at the very least, reducing the quality)

i wouldn't buy $100 games(near) when i can buy cd-rip as u call them..they r the same quality and has the same things both on dvd and cd...( GT3 comes in copy DVD and CD) so if u don't have a modded ps2 u guys r paying for much more...

actually the CD and DVD dont have the same quality...

what CD's dont have:

- no intro movie
- no ending movie in arcade
- less songs
- the lights don't pop up
- the headlights fade out when the camera gets closed to it (replay)..dunno how to describe it...
- the mirror is kind of screwed up...
- course intro clip

...i think thats about it...if i find some more...then i'll post it up....
