As advertised, I swear. It's freaking amazing.

I played with mine at work today, taking it home this afternoon. I have no phone service at my house, but using this device I can have telephone service through my whole house. Bue-yeah! No more running after the phone in the house anymore.

And for those of you who have three phones, you can ditch SWBell bills and use a cell phone. What's cooler? Wire your place for two-line, get two line phones, two CellSocket stations, and you get both cell phones ringing on all your house phones.

My boss has a wife and two daughters. He's going to ditch his landline service and get a cellphone on his cellular "family plan" that just stays at the house. Replacing $45 a month of SWBell with a $10 upgrade to his cellular bill. And when they all leave the house, they all get a cell phone.

I sound like an infomercial. But it's cool!

I dont get the benefit? Why can't I cancel my regular lanline service and just use my cellphone in the house without this little device?

My dorm really wants us to get landline service in our rooms, but I dont see the point when my cell works just as well. It is my primary phone.

You can use the cellphone in your house. But you have to use the actual cell phone. What this does is send the connection through the wires in your house, allowing you to continue using all your line based phones. So you essentially have extensions on your cellphone. My parents have ... five phones in their house. They would all ring on incoming calls to the cellphone. They wouldn't have to keep the cellphone with them everywhere they went in the house.
