Tyre steps to learn grip?

Start from the bottom, Comfort then Sports then Racing tire. Personally I used comfort medium on all cars below 600pp for practice and some free run both offline-online. I was surprised at how much grip comfort medium has on Ferrari 458 in the rain :)



I think learning with comfort on a specific car will help the driver to understand the car more, and it is also a great tool to make a base tune.

Comfort tires are grooved tires and are supposed to have more grip than Sports (Semi-slick) tires in GT5 on wet surfaces.
 
A bit offtopic from the main thread purpose but I think PD should call the Comfort tires as Normal tires, just like it was on GT4... (japanese version?)

Because calling them "comfort" doesn't make much sense.
