There's no real dedicated Time Trial section. Some members have been kind enough to test a multitude of cars at different tracks, but there's no "TT" section like the "Tuning", "Livery Editor" sections.
Anyway, I was just trying out a few different car and was gifted the R8 LMS. I remembered Christopher Mies, recently setting an all out Bathurst record in his R8 GT3.
Last year, I made a thread Bathurst Time Attack as AMG were setting a road car lap record. In the same thread, even a VW Amarok took a shot at the fastest ute on the mountain(try that in a Raptor
). It's now becoming a major thing to set a TT at Bathurst. Next year, Pirelli are even offering up soft tyres, in addition to the FIA allowing GT cars to run unrestricted.
GT3 and GT4 cars will have runs to set their fastest times in each category. Should be interesting to watch, as well as comparing times in game.
I took the R8 out at Noon, on RS tyres, stock settings and set a one lap time of 2:02.xxx.
Chaz Mostert 2018 B12H pole lap in the M6 GT3 at 2:01.934
No doubt, player's skill levels, DS4 or wheel, will be factors to achieve similar times. However, I'd like to see how others achieved these times. Be it stock or tuned.
