Challenge mode dont reset for a new season

I Finished my first Italian Season at place overall 7. (Dont laugh i know im not that good :)

But now I started a new Italian season, and after I won the first 2 races at Monza, and got a 4 place, and 1 first at Misano so far. But when i look at the standings to my surprise i see that I still have the points from my first season, and same for all the AI drivers. Is this the way it is supposed to be, or posibel bug ?

hmm i just finished european season, i will check it our for you ^^
