This is a board for times in the chamonix mountains. The leader board will be updated normally every post because I've got nothing better to do, or daily, depending upon interest and number of times, or if my stupid Embarq DSL service is acting up or not;)


Rules of the [ice] road

  • You cannot use any other tire other than snow (obviously:D)
  • Do not upgrade the car at all, keep it how it is (oil changes are fine)
  • Do your best not to fishtail and hit the back of your car into a wall in a turn, and refrain from doing it on purpose
  • Please be honest and stick to these rules.
  • NO HYBRIDS(as in game sharked cars, modified with parts from other cars)

Scoring Boards​
Layout:
In this scoring post-your-times section, here is the layout I want you to follow. First off the six categories: Rally, Truck, Stock, Other, Kei, and Classic. This is what goes into each:

Rally: Rally cars and rally-raid cars. This includes the most common types of cars races in these type of races.
Truck: Obviously trucks go here. They are the Ford F150 SVT Lighting, Dodge Ram 1500 hemi, Toyota Tacoma X-runner, and Chevy
Silverado SST Concept
Stock: Normal cars go here.
Other: This section contains other cars that somehow you can drive on the snow. Tuners, Touring, racers, any racer that isn't typically driven in the snow goes here.
Kei: This section is home to the extremely-tiny Japanese cars, like the Honda Beat, Suzuki Cappucino, etc.
NOTE:The max dimensions for kei cars (l/w/h) are: 3400mm/1480mm/2000mm, and a max displacement of 660cc

Classic: This category is for old-school cars from 1980 and back, all the way back to the beginning of the automotive time.

This challenge intrigued me, so I ran a few of the rally cars. Here are the times:
2'18.899 - Peugeot 206 Rally Car '99 - Superhero Wally
2'19.563 - Mitsubishi CZ-3 Tarmac Rally Car '02 - Superhero Wally
2'21.448 - Ford Escort Rally Car '98 - Superhero Wally

I'll give some of the other calsses a go another time.

These are all awesome cars. The Sti Spec C is just as good as the actual rally cars and the STRATOS is my favorite car for this, great control and power delivery. The Motor Sport Elise was really well too, but was hampered by a lack of low end power, but still a very nice drive.

I must say, doing this is so much fun than when you had to do the races... I'm just sliding from one corner to the next, no pressure at all.
