Consitering the disparity of the cars, I'm quite suprised to see that the lap times were so close together.

this is how things usually go, unfortunately.

Considering the effort you put in, thats not cool. Well, I'll keep posting even if west city is a one man show cos :

a) i've already learned a lot about tuning thanks to Mr Alfa

b) There has to be a race series at the end to find the ultimate winner.

Their loss :D

There's always lame ass slackers in every series...it's just part of the game. :banghead: Personnally I would line them all on a wall and I guess you know the rest. :irked:

And give them Noddy badges  ;)

It would just be better manners to not volunteer in the first place.

only mike and quad have sent times. there's less than 3.5 hrs left.

Looks like Viper means business;) . NO excuses here for my slower time, however it's always fun to become the "underdog".

Icandigit,
Thomas

Well I only mean business when the car suits my style, that DB6 in the first round was pretty much up my ass. Things should really get interesting with cars like the Jaguar XJR Vehicle, Lister Storm V12 and Lotus Elise 190 coming up. :p

GL in the next rounds. 👍

Well, CCC claimed it first casualty - my 400hp+ garage :( You see I have two memory cards, one for sub 400hp and one for the 400+ hp cars. I was just finishing up with the Saxo at midfield on the under 400 card when I decided to see what time I could do in my 487hp tuscan at midfield. So i put in the 400+ card into slot 2, loaded a guest garage and put in a few laps. Then, I removed the under 400hp card - to ensure I didnt save over it - and saved what I thought was the 400+ garage to slot 2. :banghead:

Only to find that loading a guest garage is not equal to loading a new game, so i saved my sub 400hp garage over the 400+ garage

Well, at least I had a back up of the special and won cars, but that still leaves about 60 "custom cars" to re-buy and re-tune. :(

Icandigit, dude.... I'll make sure to post the BEST possible time when those cars roll up JUST to keep things interesting;)

Thomas

It's my intention to use a different design each season. I hope that is a good thing to most of you.

scoring tomorrow. go ahead and post submitted times if you like.

Kool MAYEN, icandigit !!

I never liked Rome night. The track has the most blind turns, and track II is a bonified test of endurance. The 1st 4 turns are just pure NASTY.

The car wanted to go faster but the last left-handed sweeper wasn't trying to hear that.

I'll keep this track as a "test and tune" track from this point forth

Icandigit,
Thomas

lol I didn't bother doing more than 6 laps on this track with a stock setup car, I hate Rome Night like nothing in this world.....so imagine Rome Night II

The next rounds are finally driven on tracks that I actually enjoy, and to top it out with cars I like, so I'll take off the handbrake and floor the damm thing. :D

Talentless, can we race in multiple cities because this is fawking boring with the South, East and West all with one driver. Talk about an intense challenge for them!!!

I could race in a couple of each city here and there when I have spare time, that if you agree to let us.

Well, you can, but you won't get points. I've already revised this several times.

Ok, I'll do this. I'm going to edit out the tie breaker rule of the last four rounds where the highest city champion points finisher can determine the winner. Now, once anyone has reached the point where he cannot be beaten, his races are over until the championship rounds.

if the racers of east, south and west are first through race 9, they can skip races 10-16.

this is the likely outcome, it seems.

hey MAYEN,

I'm with you on that note. It's all about the racing, right? So lets make it worth the run. Crank up the volume fellas, it's about to get loud around here !!

thomas
