this is the likely outcome, it seems.

;) great racing dudes, looks like I'll have to activate Phase 2 test and tune process. You guys are what this forum is all about, real competition. We all know how easy it is to beat the game, and that's just BORING. Thx for participating guys, the game would not be the same without you.

icandigit ;)

Having some decent competition is what it is all about.

Yea, with 3 or 4 cars to tune in a week, we're all gonna have to pull up our socks :D

👍

wow, i didn't think i would come in first, espectialy not in a 1.5 sec lead, you guys must've missed some parts (i did buy the tcs), but then again, racing 4 cars in a day or two isn't a (let's say) strategic thing to do.

i'll try to race in another city (maybe north) just to see how i do.

Hey MAYEN, I think we all took each other TOO lightly. YOU guys are pretty quick, no doubt. I'll admit to running all the races in 1 day, but not this round. There is a 3 day plan for the Grand Valley, so strap on your helmets fellas; the drive is about to get rough !!

icandigit,
Thomas

the car is just a grade f overall. got 1:56.1xx, not sure if legal, with it. poor brakes, traction, turning.

just a practice run. heck, you can do the same if you'd like. i used it instead of the competition car because of inadequate cash.

btw, it's unlikely that i will use the arcade cars much in series because of control problems, they stink.

since the series should be shorter in length, i am already planning out the next season.

That last chicane killed me; was either "off course", or into the barrier on the outside :banghead:

In a few minutes, I'll start on the basic layout for season 3.

check my next post in this thread. I think you guys will like it.

This season will be known as the Winners' Pool.

Again, no teams will not be in it, but all classes will be open, and the format returns to GT and Touring, et al.

Here's how it will work. Before the start of the season, interested racers will e-mail me their car choices, along with the parts and settings of each car.

Racers can choose 4 cars each, even arcade cars, as long as they fall within the power to weight ratio of the classes.

The classes are Touring 2, Touring, GT2 and GT

Each time someone wins a race he get to select any car he wants from the pool for everyone to use in the next race, but the catch is this, the cars are not to be named, you will have to choose a letter. A might represent a Skyline, while B might represent a RUF. So try to make your choices as useful on as many courses as you can.

I will also give the power to weight ratios.

You may be wondering how the first round will work. A qualifying system will be used.

Sounds good. Very good.

dude, icandigit !!

You really need to factor yourself in as a bonus round challenger or something, your races are too kool to miss alll the fun:lol:

well, i did this. i took the west city car, all legal parts equipped, for r5 to the r5 course, did some laps to establish gearing and changed the auto to 11. that's it. i did a bunch of laps and believe a sub 1:53 is possible. I know because I was at 1:53.8xx and the sectors showed me at -.8xx at a point or two. 1:53.4xx is what i settled on. that will give you an indication of where i'd rank.

HAHAHA, righton - is the 5th round the 1st time you tried this? If so where do you rank? If not we're all aiming for sub1:53s:lol: in the west city

That is with my settings. I think the auto selector is either 7 or 8. Havent played with the individual gearing tho - where are your settings, for interest sake?
