When I start up GT5 i get prompted to change date and time settings since it supposedly something wrong with them (according PD)...

But they date and clock on the PS3 (even in game) are correct with our local time.

What to do?

I thought it was a glitch in prologue but seeing it in the full game again annoys me. Same goes for the pop up "do not shut off ps3 while saving..." or something.

This happened to me in Prologue. To fix it I went to the PS3's XMB under system settings (I think.) There should be an option to change the clock, when you select it, it will give you the option to update manually or via the internet. Update via the internet and the problem should go away.

Hope that makes sense.

Hey Parker, makes sense. Just couldn't find it. I'll try som more. But... All times and dates are correct. But still I think you're right 👍

Haha, I had it also on the prologue  and was happy with the fact the GT5 didn't have that problem... up until now... :ouch:

That's what I didn't understand either. When it happened to me on Prologue, my time and date was perfectly correct, but GT apparently thought otherwise... Maybe it was a minute or two off, nothing I ever noticed, but updating the time via internet fixed it.

This error is usually to do with the daylight saving option, change it and the error won't come up anymore. This has also been covered countless times on here in both the GT5p and GT5 sections.

Ugh... one of my pet peeves... All the unnecessary dialogs you have to acknowledge which make navigating the GT menu system feel like crawling through mud.

Just like the tuning shop, where you have to click through 4 dialogs to buy (and fit and confirm and acknowledge) a simple tuning part for your car. And you have to do that for each little thing you buy... 👎

Bad bad bad UI design. Clearly no user testing done or just a very stubborn development team.
