All I see in this forum, besides the argueing, is everyone asking the same questions about the same cars. The GTR, the Enzo, the RX-7 and so on. I mean 1st off there are 100 threads about each of these over used cars. Not to mention that the game has over 1000 cars in it (maybe 700 models but 1000 cars, damn PD putting 35 Mazda Miatas and 40 Nissan Skylines in the game). Given the recent happenings in the community I think everyone needs a change of pace. Why not spend some time tuning slower, 10 and low 11 second cars. Drag racing isint about tuning the fastest 4 cars and running them over and over, its about tuning many cars to drag race with regardless of how fast or slow they are. Why not slap a tune on a 350HP MR car and see your time. Im sure once you get a few tuned and run them in a few rooms, since there are only a few rooms using cars other than a GTR or Enzo, you will actually begin to have fun once again with drag racing in GT5.
 
How about we have a Midget showdown. Every tune the midget and see who get's the best time. Something fun to do so we can break up all the hostility in the air.

Seriously though, this is a good idea. It's fun pulling out an oddball car you have tuned and cacthing people sleeping lol. 👍

So Kenny I have an idea for a bi-weekly competition. (I believe that's how the OCD changes) Why don't you pick a car from the OCD (The oddest one) and have people tune it and try to get the best time. Hopefully it'll help this blow over.

So much for that it changed this morning with bowties, nothing wrong with that.
 
I would like to start a comp for MR, FR and AWD cars under 400HP. Maybe set a list of 6 cars, 2 for each drivetrain, and let everyone post their times. If I get enough positive feedback on it I'll make a list of the cars and see what happens.

True, but I'd still like to tune something that I could use at Indy and be competative after the competition is over. Some folks have limited tuning time. I'm lucky to do one car a week.
 
Ill work on a list guys. It would be more realistic to use sport tires but to keep it simple lets use racing softs so we can keep the tunes for Indy racing. Gotta work soon so throw some cars at me in this thread and ill go over what suggestion yall have.
400HP or less no FFany drivetrain hell I wont be in the competition since Im trying to organize it. Think of cars you expect most people to have. ZZ-S, Elise, and such.
 
That all sounds good .It's easy to get a 500 hp car to hook up with racing soft but try to get a 900 hp cat to hook up with sports soft . Will be more challenge which the game needs

Yea I did this too. It lasted all of three competitions with a solid 3 people participating...
