changing suspension settings

i am fairly new to the game and dont know how i should set up my suspension.....can anyone give me some basic tips on how to set everything up

look at the thread in setting and tuning for suspsension - also look at the LSD settings too. It helped me out a bunch

I never change anything except the gear ratio, I just dont know all that stuff.

Read through these; while they are more directed toward LSD settings, I think you'll find some links or, at least directions, to some great explainations on suspension tuning.

If I can offer one additional piece of advice, when you're starting out, look for posts that explain the hows and whys of tuning (rather than just finding settings for a particular car). Teach yourself to fish, you know? :goldfish:

Go to the "Settings and Tunings" board, and search/read there - don't search on this board. Look at the top of the GT3 thread index page for "GT3 Writeups", which also has alot of discussion on tuning, or "GT3 Settings and Tunings".
