I want to know if it would be a VERY good purchase cause it cost 15 mil .. is it a super nice car or its just a car like others :/?

It is a fantastic car but you can get it for free by grinding a 1970 ticket. It's one of the best cars in the game in my opinion.

Very rare in the ucd, if you got the cash scoop it up for sure!!!!

EDIT:If you dont use the usb back up method it could take alot of tickets, year 70 birthday ticket is what your looking for. If you were not born in 1970, or create a fake account with 1970 as your bday, then you have to trade for it. I used the usb back up method and got it with the 3rd try.

I mean UCD :p and how to get a 1970 ticket? And how much chance to get it :l

Here's the list from a thread:

List of cars contained in b-day/year tickets thread
1970 (12 cars)
Chaparral 2J Race Car '70
Chevrolet Chevelle SS 454 '70
Dodge Challenger R/T '70
Dodge Charger 440 R/T '70
Honda 1300 Coupe 9 S '70
Honda Z ACT '70
Marcos Mini Marcos GT '70
Mitsubishi GALANT GTO MR '70
Nissan SKYLINE HT 2000GT-R (KPGC10) '70
Plymouth Superbird '70
Toyota CELICA 1600GT (TA22) '70
Toyota Toyota 7 Race Car '70

It will take a while, but it'll be worth it.

It's a waste. To me, it is a must get car.
Handles different from many cars, looks unique, has a rich history, makes historical cup a lot easier for a spec and b spec, qualifies for many seasonals and events and one of the best 650pp car.
If u see another, be sure to buy it

Ill get it from 1970 ticket :)

You can also get it on a Level 23 ticket (along with a lot of other good cars), if you want an L23 ticket, add me and I can send you one.

The chaparral 2J is quite good for an old typed machine manufacturered in the past years, but is useless in rivaling against recent LMP or GT1 categorized cars in 90's or after the year 2000.

Before you cash in a 1970 ticket or a Level 23 ticket, make sure you understand how "duping" or "grinding" a ticket works.

What I did with mine was this:

1) Get the ticket on my main account.
2) Immediately send it to a secondary account, then quit the game.
3) Open game after logging in on secondary account.
4) Receive ticket. Don't redeem it or open it.
5) Quit game.
6) Back up Game Save Data to a USB flash drive.
7) Open the game, still under your secondary account, and send the ticket to your main account.
8) Repeat as necessary.

That way, you've always got another ticket waiting for you; all you have to do is send it. And you get to keep whatever you get for each one.

ETA: I clarified this, because I really screwed it up when I originally posted it!

Did somebody say the 2J?!

I have both, I paid for the 2D and ground a ticket for the 2J. I love both cars. But then they are my era! I'd love the 2H but PD don't seem to bothered about 'new' old cars. Shame!

They both profit from a mid range Turbo charger, it helps them out of slow corners with the 3 speed gearbox.

FYI - I had this completely wrong, so I made some changes. Do this, and you're golden. :)

I think it's fun to drive, if you like driving old race cars, especially in cockpit view, you'll love it like I do :D It has a cool cockpit view.

You realize you can use this answer for every single car? Get if for free with an xxxx ticket. Since you can make your 20 mil in just a few hours, why is it worth cheating as the first path to take? Especially with the risk of FUBARing your game save...

Not every car (Chrome Lines, Stealth, DLC, cars with no year), but all the "normal" cars. I don't have a problem with someone exploiting a feature of the game, as long as it doesn't affect me. I enjoy racing so I usually have plenty of credits when something I want shows up.
