Not a lot of pictures, because I only a edited a few. I think they're decent, but not what I'm looking for. I'm trying to go for the photo realistic look, so please, criticize me on what I should do to get the effect, because I know I'm not there.

Update 2/15/09:

Update 2/16/09:

these pics look great. the lighting in the m5 pic look awesome. and as far as the realistic looks go, the panorama, scenery and maybe the m5 pic could pass a looking real. great start

Thanks. The lighting in the M5 was the best I had gotten. There's these big lights in the Paris circuit that were really hard to ignore. I only wished I had washed it though, I can't imagine how it would have looked.

The scenery is easier to make real, PD did a good job with most of the background objects. I'll try working some more on the others.

The R35 is amazing. I don't know if those jaggies are because resizing or too much sharpness filter, it could look better a bit bigger.

The sceneries are a bit rare for me... I can't see a proper composition really, or anything overstading to enhance the GT4 backgrounds.

It's probably from sharpening. I like to over sharpen. I guess it could be, but it doesn't looks as clean. Resizing is usually my last main step, after I just do small edits to get it sharper.

For the scenery, I just kind of came across the pictures by accident. I had the Subaru on Beacon Hill and noticed how realistic the sign and the tree looked so I snapped it. The panorama was me stumbling across the fact that you can move the camera up and down, :P.

Sorry for the double post, but I have an update. I took some shots of the GT-R Concept at Paris. I noticed the pictures came out really dark and though they looked cool. So inspired by a picture similar in idea by someone here, I decided to take some more dark shots of the GT-R.

I personally like the first one because it looks like one of those teasers that they give you for a new car.

Are you talking about the Escudo or the GT-R? I know both are jaggy due to my over sharpening. I'll try tone them down a bit, or work on getting rid of the jaggies after the sharpening, some how. Contrast might be a small role.

Yeah the jaggies do detract from what are some very good images. I'm with the others here who think it's a result of the resizing.

What program are you running to do this?

The main ones give you a few options on how you want it to process the resizing. Maybe give it a few goes.

these photos are quite rare in terms of composition. the first update i really liked the gt-r, the sceneries are quite interesting as well. but for the second update, i like the first one the most, the jaggies, as everyone said, could use a little bit of the blur tool, or maybe the smudge tool. all in all that first photo of the gtr is really nice. would work well for an ad :D:tup:

Update. This died really fast, :P.

Anyways I'm working on the Escudo again, the rest I can't, because I lost their files, :P. For now though, I've got something new, however, I need some help.

I'm no expert with cars and so I need to know what would look more photo realistic for burning brakes. Tried looking on Google but only really found one small picture of a Renault F1.

So, let me know which of these, if any, look photo realistic. Also, ignore everything else besides the brakes, :P.

yea lol. that was fast. but... the update... the pics are too small and there a watermark on it. and it still looks like gt4 to me

For the break things, I like the 2nd the most

Great pictures you have here. I think I never saw this gallery before, but with such great pictures, I think I’ll come visiting more often.

This last one is absolutely amazing, but, just one tip, can you not resize the full size shots so much. I think a maximum of 900px is good. They are too small, I can’t see all the work you’ve put into it, and all the details.

You are not new to GT4 and photoshop, are you? ;)

I'm surprised by this early quality already, although you seem to have forgotten the wheel blurs on the M5

LdS: Thanks man. I'll try to make it bigger. I'll try to post a bigger version of the Lexus in a little bit.

Bram: I was hoping nobody would notice that on the M5. Yea I forgot and was too lazy to go back and redo it, :P.

I'm no stranger to photoshop, but GT4 is a new thing for me.

it looks pretty good. it could pass as real but i think it kinda dark. but it still looks good over all

I like the image size of the 2nd link, it brings more details than the other image sizes.
Wow, great work. Now that I see it better, amazing. You have potential. Also, has you said, you are no stranger to Photoshop itself, and that helps allot. Keep it up, and keep updating, I’ll be observing.

Wow..... that new update sure does look good with that bigger size. 👍 SO you are no stranger to photoshop eh? Well try and enter some of the photomode comps yourself and see how you compare to the others. I'm sure you would give some of them a run for their money...... :D (me included)

Late update, :P.

Just went through some old pictures and tried to touch them up a little bit. I'll try to work on some more and retouch some of these. Hopefully I can get back into this and make some better stuff.

Thanks to everybody and enjoy, :).

Best wishes,

S-Line Audi Fan

Thank you for the comment S-Line, :).

The next update should be about the next sentence, :P.

I just noticed some things about the M3, I'll try to go back on that later, for now enjoy these old-new pictures, :P.
