Its 5am, and I'm not bored. Too much to get done before leaving for work.

Sorry guys, the convo forum was closed. One thing I've been thinking is the convo forum provided a common place to meet. There is no reason you couldn't post up a thread pointing to a chat room that you opened. Every time you're bored, simply log back into that thread, announce where the chatroom is, and allow people to log in.

We'll see how that works.

Perhaps a nightly "Chatroom location thread"?

I'm glad that Der Alta allows this, so I just start off with a provisional chatroom from my homepage. It is easy to use and always worked fine for me. Language can be switched to English

3. As soon as possible I will activate your account.

4.Please consider that I live in Europe. it might take some time before I can activate you.
I won't answer your pm. I'll just activate you. Then you'll immediately get a confirmation to the emailadress you used in the registration.
CAUTION : This email might be in your spamfolder. check it.
If you don't get an activation within 24 hours, just contact me again via pm and I'll change it manually.


This chat is probably far away from being perfect for us, and everybody is welcome to present a link for a better chatroom.

Great idea, i'm there. Perhaps a Premium Member can start this kind of thread so that they can update it, then lock it.
 
Just checked it out, and it works, Max and Mdnite are in there now.

I hope that this (or another) chat will be a established element of GTP soon, but of course it will take at least a few days...
 
Max_DC, if you want, I'll go ahead and help you get this pretty established.

Personally I'm annoyed by weird domain names and such, so much so that I'm willing to purchase a domain name and provide hosting for this (gtpchat.net).

..But only if people will actually use it.

Well it could be easier. If this thread would eventually become a sticky, you could easily enter it with the big fat link in the first post here....

Well give this chat some time. Only a handfull members have joined so far... in a few days it should be better, if you all help and telll other members about this thread or you copy the link nto your signature etc.

You're right, but it won't. Jordan and his crew tried it once and they didn't like it. We'll have to live with this one I'm afraid.... but it should work fine at least as soon as it will be esatblished and frequently used by more members.
 
Lets make this clear, I did not allow this, only suggested that I was suprised noone had taken this step on their own.

I've edited the title, as it is not endorsed or condoned by GTPlanet, it is simply a link to a place where you all gather.
