does anyone have this? i need to know which store sell it
i want to try it out with Xlink Kai

This was on the socom forums a while back, I too want to know what stores will sell this. I'd love to get one. I just don't get why they don't sell these in stores!

Ive just ordered a Wifi max for my dads psp, cant wait ot enable flash and install the flash portals that are lurking around the net.

wifi max is 75% failure. I bought it myself, and almost got it to work but it started screwing around with my connection. I tried everything, but my computer would get confused between my DSL bellsouth connection, and the backup dialup connection. I got it to work for a day and I squeezed quite a few socom games before it started messing around again. I returned it and got GT4 for $17. If you want it to work you better have a hassle free internet setup, skills, or just luck.
I think I have problems with it because of my usb ports have all been screwy ever since I installed some usb card reader. They stopped working and now the software for it won't recognize it's own hardware and I can't uninstall it-But I digress. I'll open up a thread somewhere.

Interesting to hear, I have only one internet connection, and my USB ports are fine, Ive heard good things about wifimax and Im interested to see if it works, because I have no other way of connecting the PSP to the net.

Neither do I...Try it, and if it works. give yourself a pat on the back, and before you do, make sure that you can return it for a refund. I almost didn't get the money back, but luckily they didn't have any more. I'm working on getting a 2 gig stick right now. I'll get my dad to get a wireless router when I get my laptop.

Well its not actually my PSP its my dads, but Im buying this for him so that I can get the flash stuff to work. Unfortunatly they dont offer re-funds only an exchange for the same item if the one you purchase dosnt work. but its only £18 with free delivery so im not too bothered if it dosnt work.

My dad just bought a 1gb stick for his, and he is now stummped as to what to put on it lol, he has got some videos of PS3 games, and two demos of suduko and the recent footie game, but thats it. Im using the standard 32mb stick he got with it, so that we can have seperate save games. I hope this wifi thing works as it would be great to surf the net at the same time as my dad. while he is on the metal detecting forums I can be here.

He can put movies, music, and demos. Personally, I have a few BMI videos I want to put on mine, which is why 1 gig won't cut it. Office Depot is selling them for $30-$40 but I still won't get it. 3 videos, 400-600 megs each, plus a bunch of songs and demos is what I'd normally carry and 1 gig won't do that for me. Probably a Four gig though...

My wifi max was delivered today, and it works ace, I had a little trouble first off, because Datel missed an important instuction in the manual, but I found a site explaining all and hey presto its online. Ive even posted here too.
