walmart has these 256mb "Impact" brand thumbdrives for $28.. but they're really Lexars. i bought one and it works fine on the Slim PS2. the chip inside of it says Lexar.

I bought two 128mb drives (one keyring, one pen) on ebay for £15. Give that a try.

I got the same one- I didn't want to spend too much money on something that might not work.

32mb goes a long way if transferring images is all you want to do.

If it's not too late and you have an Mp3 player I'd highly recommend you try it first! I have a sandisk cruzier mini (512mb) that didn't work, neither did my 40gb ext usb 2.0 hd didn't work, but my 512mb mp3 player did. Go figure... (Wow, I feel like I said this somewhere else here??) 👍

wow, you seriously need to try searching. there's a 20 page thread stickied at the top of the Photomode section that talks all about USB drives.
