Cheaters get gamerscore set back to 0

Hopefully none of you were stupid enough to use gamesaves to boost your gamerscore. Microsoft is resetting people that used glitches to exploit online ranks or if they used gamesaves to boost gamerscore.

It will be easy to find the people that did it because they will have a 0 next to their name and this will be at the bottom.

They've been doing this for as long as I can remember, nothing new here.
 
April 28th 3 days ago is when they put this into full effect and even took it a step further. So yes actually this is new news. Especially the people that glitch the leaderboards. Even more specific people that glitched in GOW2.
 
How would you glitch a leaderboard? I didn't care for Gamerscore but who knows.
 
I think its rather silly since there is no way you can tell me that innocent people don't get reset in this somewhere. They don't really explain how they determine it. So lets say they determine it by how many achievements you get in a certain time on one game. I got all of my veteran achievements on COD5 in one day, now will it flag me as a cheater? Who knows. This is bound to get innocent people caught in its trap somewhere and they will for sure be super pissed and there's nothing they can do about it.
 
I thought it was based off of achievements and time the game was played.

From what I understan, when cheating, most of the achievements were gained in a very short period of time, if not zero time on the game clock.

I think that is who they are going after.
 
I haven't seen anything that would let you mod a game to get the achievements in zero play time. Could someone point a link to this? I def am not going to do it because for a few reasons, but i am curious on what exactly people are doing. Like i said on mine, i got all the veteran COD:WaW achievements in 1 day so i hope its not going to flag me.

They do it similar to how people can transfer saves on the PS2 and PS3. Somehow loading someone elses saves onto your profile. As soon as you do that you instantly get all the achievements. Usually the red flag for this is that it will say "aquired" next to your name without any date.
If you did not cheat and if your gamertag is not 0 right now then you have nothing to worry about.
 
My GS is still as it was before, and i didn't cheat considering the anxiety that beating WaW on veteran caused me....god that wasn't fun on a few levels....
