I think he wants to use bone stock cars ?? It can be done but much harder to accomplish without some tuning. Gearing is very important for decent lap times & to chase down the rabbits.

Yes I prefer using bone stock cars with no aids (besides ABS 1 and SRF when they force you to have it)

Good for you for going this route. It's no wonder you're finding the races so difficult. My hat's off to you 👍

well i like runningthe cars as they are from the factory...but understand that some races just cannot by won this way, wish i could play online but my internet is not the best

I understand now but don't equate using a tune to cheating. Thats just a bad choice of words and isn't true at all. And also, good luck to you in your no-aids venture.

Sorry..it wasn't meant to come off as that. And if i have typo's at times..my spacebar half works.
 
It is fair because you don't see what fairness actually means.

1. The seasonals are the same for eveybody, on every console, on every GT5 version.
2. The AI does always drive about the same total times, really small differences.
3. The AI doesn't really do random stuff, they drive extremely consistant
4. PD doesn't give us the statistics, but I'm sure at least a few thousand people do golden these seasonal events regularly.
5. If others can do the very same thing but you can't, whos fault is this? PDs or yours?
6. It's a damn challenge and by participating you indirectly accept that challenge and try to win it.
7. It's a game.
8. Why do that many people seriously expect to have the ability to always finish a game to 100%? WHY???
9. A game has a wide userbase, it must be attractive for everybody, including the very good players.
10. If you can't get gold then you can't get gold ffs. DEAL WITH IT!
It's not as if as example a F1 champion would win every single race or always start from pole or similar. As long as that many people can golden these events, it's nothing wrong with it.
11. It's not as if you wouldn't get any money for second place or worse.
12. GT5 has some more and some less difficult events, stick with the easier ones if you can't accept to lose.
13. You better go and sell GT5 before anything bad happens.

Too easy. Before PD gave us the Seasonals & bonus login credits & XP, everyone had to grind the races just to try to level up. What used to take a month or more to get 20 million credits can be done now in few days or even hours, but it's still Fun. :)👍
 
Well first of all they wouldn't let you win a massive amount of money for no sweat so that why AI start so far ahead and drive cars that break the limits, but in my opinion I love the idea cause I always found the events easy! Except for those damn drifts trials :/

BTW: what would be the fun if you can win every race without even tryin?
The only unfair one is vettel. others are just challenging, that's all
 
Well, this is a little bit of irony...
Since PD did not like you cheating, why not turn it around and have the AI cars cheat?

When I first got GT5, I managed to get enough money to get the cars I wanted and needed, without even doing a seasonal event. Granted, they are the easiest way to make money, but not the only.
