I found two wierd glitches in Gran Turismo 3 that also include backwards compatibility.
Yu can post any cheat/mod stuff here

numero uno: Normally, the port polish is the racers best friend. Not entirely. If You Dont drive your first three cars up to 150 miles, i found that the port polish has taken down the RX-7 ifini III (J) gets a 25 hp decrease.

#2: This only worked once. Have a GT3 file saved in slot one. Have a GT2 save in memory card 2 (psx). It only happened once, but, i went to trade, and every muscle car i had from the GT2 save i could atcually get in GT3.

and is it true the McLaren F1 is acheivable in both GT2 AND GT3?
 
i doubt anyone will believe your lie about gt2 muscle cars in gt3 because its not technologically possible dumbass.
 
But that's why it only worked once! Don't you get it? Of course it won't work if anyone else tries it because it only happens when the planets are aligned, a De Lorean goes 88 MPH and when you can see comets and shooting stars all at the same time.
 
i am serious. it happened. i saved, and went to reset the game, and they were gone. i had taken pictures, but the card is in the camera and my dad wont let me take it out of the camera.

If youre going to lie, at least lie about something thats actually possible.

Well, since this thread has been revived again, I guess it should be alright for me to have my say...

Whether Thenoose is actually lying or not, i'm not quite sure. However, why the hell would anyone lie like that just doesn't make sense. Sorry if you're telling us the truth but unless you post the photo here, not many people are going to believe you. When I get a copy of Gran Turismo 3, sometime in the future, I might decide to test this myself.

As for your question about the McLaren F1 being in the game, there is a rumour that if you bought every car in the game in black, you could win a McLaren F1. This hasn't been proven yet, and there hasn't been any word from fans who have successfully completed this easter egg.

Another thing is that some cars aren't purchasable in black. I think the quote below can sum this rumour up...

"This egg is impossible due to the fact that the garage in Gran Turismo 2 can only hold 100 cars. There are far more than 100 black cars in the game. This is nothing more than a rumour and fan-boy myth."

As for the user-posted cheats, feel free to race the Tahiti Road and win a Nissan Skyline R30 Sillhouette Formula that sells for an enormous $125,000.

Anyway, I hope that answers your question about the McLaren F1. As for the other "glitches" you claim that exista, since I can't prove this by myself, I don't think I should jump to conclusions.
