Has anyone ever had that feeling where you just want to build something? I did. A while back I got bored. REEEEEEEAAAALLY bored. I started to create the 2003 Subaru Impreza WRC car. That didn't work out. Recently I just tryed to wing it and create my own thing. Here are some pics. Bare in mind that it looks tonnes better in real life.

As you can see there is no paint job yet. I'd like help with that. If there is anyone viewing who uses Photoshop for that kind of thing, then can you please come up with a cool colour scheme? I'm no good when it comes to colour schemes.

It should be:
Simple
Affective
Cool
Really it should look good and be easy for me to paint

There are adjustments that need to be made. I know, but I have just finished builing. I'm 17 years old with exams next week. This proves I can't study.

Comments are welcome too

Cheers

...haha.......ha...ha.........hahaha...........BAWHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!

*points finer at j00*

MISSHUN FAIELD!

just kidding, its actually quite interesting....what is it? is it just a model? or like an Rc car, or what?

OMg... hahaha I thought it was actually a good job because the pic was small...

Dude, thats hilarious....I used to make eraser cars when I was "studying" take 4 thumb tacks, a pink eraser, and your good to go !

Wow. That's.. that's... well at least you put a lot of effort into it. :)

What did you build it from? Papiermaché?

[edit] Nevermind, saw what it's made from now...

Thanks guys! I feel so much better about showing you guys now :grumpy: .................

I can't say that I've ever made an eraser car.

Ok. I was thinking more along the lines of the Sandman ute. Why would I give that.......... Thing a colour scheme of a UPS or Fedex truck?

Now you see why the pics are so small.

As you can see, I'll never get a job designing or for that matter, building automobiles.

Well if you really want to make it better, do this (not that I've ever designed anything before, but this is how I would make the seams cleaner--and I've cast rocket nozzles and other random parts out of epoxy so I have a clue what I'm talking about):
1) Superglue everything together. If you get and angle wrong, superglue bonds arent hard to break.
2) coat the inner corners of the joints with epoxy.
3) sand to round stuff off.

It'll look alot better than the (??) painter's tape you have holding it together now.

And if you don't want to do fedex/ups, do it two-tone pearl blue/creme or red/creme.

Dude. The body is made of card. You seem to be forgeting that I'm nowhere near finished. I still have to right all of the wrongs....... And there are **** loads of them. I'll post finished pics and make you go OMG.... OMG..... Can you please make me one???.......

Judging by some cars (Nissan Micra) I'd say that some designers are from mental institutions or even Kindergarten.

And what about the pea-brain who came up with the X3, that's a disaster!

UPDATE!!!

If you can help with paint jobs. Use that template I put up. Keep in mind I'd like to keep the bonnet that orange.

You get my idea. Top is orange, bottom is a light creme/white (although I was lazy and left it plain white). Orange should fade from light on to to dark on the bottom.

Check out the engine + Tranny (Just added it now. So adjustments will have to be made). From scratch. I took it out so I can paint the engine and......... Thingy

maybe his car is not handsome yet, but he's quite good!
where the hell do you get your parts from?
i see potentials designing and building techinique

so i got a request
can u put Nissan mark there?
and i'd like dual muffler too

Thank you.

The parts. Old school bok covers for the body and anyother cardboard work. Whatever else I can find that looks reasonably like other car parts, or can be modified slightly to look like car parts. Which is wierd because I know nothing about cars and what part goes where. I only know makes and models.

There are two mufflers. I was thinking about putting them on the sides. I'll think about the Nissan/Nismo part.

I believe the two words you were looking forward is. GET LIFE!

Meh! I haven't done anything with it lately.
