Just viewed this thread (post 1 to post90) for the first time, i must say the cars you made are looking awesome. My last attempt at making a car from bits and bobs ended in failure after my pet Bruno (Pet Dog) rolled over it :grumpy:

I'm not trying to humour you mate, i think you have done a good job, i quite like model cars too. I have like 200 small matchbox and corgis etc. Also have 3 larger models namely an E36 M3, Jaguar XK8 and an old Porsche 911. I wish i did have the wreckage but that was some time ago and cameras were a foreign concept to me!!! Yeah my dog is quite big, lol, and we use it to scare off the mail men when they come to give us bills :grumpy:

Thanks. I like to collect models. I don't like Matchbox cars. You'd be able to get a fortune for them if you have the boxes though. I want to get a Bee Em double U M3 GTR. I don't know if they make them yet or not. I'd love to get one of those though. Oh I see. That long ago. Or you could be mean and use him to scare off the Girl Guides that come to sell you biscuits :indiff: It wouldn't suprise me if he eats the bills :scared:. What kind of dog is he??? (I'm saying he, because the dog sounds like a he)

You have to see M@goo's Ferrari F50 :eek: That thing is freaking incredible.

Unfortunately, i don't have any boxes for my matchbox cars. Most were purchased at Car Boot Sales. All are in mint condition though :) .Yes the dog is a He, not really sure of the breed as it is a mongrel (cross between a German Sheperd and something else!!!!).

Sweet! I can tell that it's a plastic body though. That's the problem with those though. When the light hits them, the colours look screwed up. That's bloody good though man. I like. I wana get the road car though. I don't really like doing race cars. Too much detail and I absolutely hate decals.

Yeah that's true, the light does seem to distort the plastic body colours. Doing race cars would be crazy, as you said too much detail :guilty: . I'm now going to locate M@goo's F50, wish me luck :D

If I had a race car, I'd show you, but the only only race cars I have are way too small.

It's the rims init??? I reckon the rims take the effect away. Still a beut though. If I can clean mine up, It could be good.

Bigger. Roughly 10cm long. I have to find them first. I'll do that now. Get images and post them for ya. Just...... Have a bucket with you handy.

The rims do look extraordinary for the model, a lil' bit of exagerration but it's all good, hurry up and post the pictures, my bucket is at the ready ;)

But we are expected to be there. We are expected to be in mid-table positions. Once we have the money (To buy a place in the tables, like other teams do. Chelsea for one) and the players (No players with only two right feet) We'll be fine.

Are you on about the thread opener??? That project??? Yeah I used Cardboard (Old book covers) Some Steel Tec/Mechano that I still had from when I was like 6 years old and a hell of a lot of insulation tape.
 
Do you all remember Thingy (The.... Um....... Object, that started this thread) Well she/he/it has been modified a little. Ok a lot. And not on purpose.

Here's how the story goes. I was working on the engine. I was trying to make it look well more like an engine. I was puting in drive-shafts and shiz, but one little peice just wouldn't fit. I got annoyed with it and past the whole lot to the floor. Ok I got p!ssed off and threw it at the floor. It is definately repairable. It's just a lot of straightening and a little bit of taping. The thing is, do I want to??? Again! When I'm bored, I may do it.
