It's different, as Jackie Chan's movies are comedy based action movies, whereas Jet Li's movies are meant to be serious movies (with an action theme.)
I'd check out Fist of Legend before any others. It's about as good a martial arts movie as I have ever seen. I'd stick with Jet Li's Hong Kong based movies, as most of his US movies were kind of crap.
