Which would be better?

Fanatec
Forza Motorsport CSR wheel value pack XL US:
Products: Forza Motorsport CSR Wheel US, CSR Shifter Set US, CSR Elite Pedals US, $359

or T500RS For around $500

Thanks

Not really comparing apples to apples. You want to compare a civic to a Ferrari. Compare the Clubsports and you have apple to apples.

The T500 is the better wheel, but does not have shifters or xbox compatibility.

The Csr is xbox compatible but also has the elite pedals with a load cell and also has a shifter set.

I own a T500, and I previously owned a CSR. The CSR is a great wheel with a proven design. But, the T500 is a step above. The problem is the pedals. The CSR Elite pedals have an excellent load cell brake pedal, the T500 pedals do not. If the wheel matters the most, go with the T500, but if pedals are also critical, go with the CSR value pack.

If you're wanting to play on the 360 then the forza wheel is the only one of the 2 that will do it. It seems like everyone though like the t500 over that wheel for everything else though.

no 360 just ps3 for now, still don't know which way to go.
Thanks

Buddy, if these posts haven't been enough, as well as your previous threads replies last week PLUS having this entire forum with wheel info for your viewing pleasure, it begs the question - do you need a GTP member to hold your hand all the way to the checkout?

Btw, I'm a T500 RS fan.

Personally I find that I benefit more from the pedals than I do the wheel. The load cell makes a huge difference once you have used it.

If mostly on GT5, I would recommend the T500rs. I have both the CSR Elite and T500rs, and the newest v.40 firmware for the Thrustmaster wheel has definitely made this a winner over the Fanatec wheel for me. Before....you couldn't set the degree rotation on the T500rs or feel the tiniest FFB effects of the apex in GT5. Now and with the latest firmware updates of the wheel, this is possible 👍
