Check this out!

Worked for me.

Only thing wrong IMO is that I'm used to the menu's being on the left side on most sites, it being on the right kinda messed with me :)

Yeah there's not many sites with menu's on the right, so i had to do it that way. Well.... i didn't have to, but you get the picture.

Looks OK, but the right menu wastes too much screen area, and the link colours in the body text don't have enough contrast with the background colour, and you should really learn about apostrophes.

"Vipers Gran Turismo Site" is possessive, it is the Grand Turismo Site OF Viper, therefore it should be "Viper's Grand Turismo Site"

Thanks. :)
Gotta go now, as it's too late. (12:57am Saturday morning)

I do know how to use proper puntuation, but it is only a rough copy.
It's not the final verson, and it was kind of a rush job.

Ultimately, it's not my decision. When my brother see's it tomorrow, he we decide whether he hates/likes it.

And he asked for it to be spelt that way...

...but i'll probably fix it tomorrow.

I may fix up that side column though.

Something doesn't seem right about it...

Ya, I feel the same way... The odd thing was, I was reading one of those "trade magazines" (I work for a web developer/ASP) and they were saying that from a usability standpoint, menus should appear on the right and/or at the bottom of the screen/window.

I gather the reasoning behind it is the scroll bars are always on the right/bottom of the window, the menu is placed closer at hand.

I had the geeks put together a couple of sites that way, just for the sake of testing (and to kill time) and it just seemed way too odd.

Well, i'm not going to change it now, as he has seen it, and really likes it.

I'll try fix that logo though. (means i have to make a brand new one)

hey Mustang, does that hosting service allow you to overlap text on pics, and does it have builder tools?

Nope.
You have to build your website first, with Notepad or Frontpage etc, and then download a FTP programme, as there is no way to upload files from the actual site.

That isn't something that is affected by your host. That's just plain old HTML (and they all allow that, or else they wouldn't be a webhost!). :)

ohh I see Jordan...I'm just HTML non-educated...if someone wants to help me that'd be nice...

You see, if you go to www.mazdausa.com you see the menu on the left, with the yellow line, I took all of that, and the boxes too(where the menu is), and it makes for a cool site I just have to learn how to overlap stuff...

Well, it's very simple to "overlap stuff" in HTML, but you won't find it named that in any HTML tutorials. :p You do it by creating a table, and then setting a background image. Then you can put anything you want inside of the table, and it will appear over the background. You can find a tutorial on how to do this here. :)

thanks for the site Jordan...I'm still in the clouds about HTML though, but I'll try some stuff...

It's easy with a WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) editing programme.

It is unfortunate that my brother does like it though, as i wanted to use it for my site. :D :)

Wonder if i can make a better one?.....
