Duke has done an outstanding job at the helm during this tourney. And he did deal with his fair share of BS, by no means did he have it easy.

Let's have a toast to Duke for his great job with this season of BC.

Thanks, guys. I appreciate the support and kind words. Somebody always hates the steward sometimes no matter what happens. I just hope that the majority of you had fun participating, and it seems like you did.

As I said in the other thread, of course BC5 wouldn't exist without all of the drivers, managers, cheerleaders, and even the ego merchants involved. So thanks to all of you for being here.

I especially want to thank all the people who are helping with prompt and fair replay reviews. I definitely couldn't do it without you guys, as well as everybody who made constructive comments about the rules and helped me think them through. And one person I want to mention by name is The Missing Link for tracking down and compiling all the replay links.

I've been watching the whole comp, and I have to say you've done an awesome job Duke 👍

Congrats on a successful and smoothly run Board Comp! :cheers:
 
I deserve no cheers, my job was simple and easy, and I volunteered to do it moreso because I was beginning to feel left out because I wasn't racing this time around. Yes there were other reasons, but that is the real reason ;)

The sidelines are only so much fun.

(BTW all replays should be current to this minute, if Duke got the last PM already)

I have to agree though Ryan, that particular sentence is hilarious.
 
great work Duke...after all it's been an awesome BC and we had fun joining the comp...
let's hope next host can do as well ;)
 
Fantastic job of keeping the large crowd under control (most of the time) :cheers: Now you can sit back and relax and have a breather..... HOLD ON!!!... Not just yet, there's still replays to be verified, then ya can relax ;) 👍
 
Yeah, it's not in the can yet. The replay crew seems to be keeping the job roilling. 👍

I thought that BC was very quiet, when suddenly all became normal : fights, :banghead: insults, women fighting in mud :O and everybody watching the scene with pop-corn : a good BC cannot be without thoses actors :lol:

Seriously though, i think overall you have done a sterling job and have run a pretty tight ship. Putting aside some of the egos that seem to surface whenever a BC is in town, the racing was first class and the beer was always kept cold. Not to mention the clean state of the toilets throughout the event.
