I'm putting my money on the Chevelle. Though, you'll have to specify which model Chevelle and Camaro.

Is this a 383 Camaro, a 454 Chevelle?

top ofthe line Camaro was the 396 big block. The chevelle was the 454. In a drag race I believe the chevelle would barely pull on the Camaro, only do to the raw power of the 454. Put about $200 in the Camaro 396 and your right up there with the Chevelle. Just my 2 cents.
