An IMSA Corvette racer which livery you may once recognized...
(I tried looking for pictures online, but the one with #96 seems to be rare).
In the 1992-93 timeframe, three new builds were developed for both IMSA (GTS class) and SCCA World Challenge (GT class) series. In 1992, the first car was entered in the SCCA WC Endurance race at Mosport. It subsequently became # 93 and ran in IMSA and SCCA pro racing from 1993 to 1995. At the beginning of 1993 a second car was developed (# 94) and ran in both IMSA and SCCA from 1993 to 1995. For the 1994 IMSA Daytona race, a third car (# 91) was taken to Daytona as a back-up. This car ran only one race in 1994. The cars were built on a standard Corvette chassis (strengthened and reinforced) and carrying the new Morrison Snakeskinner body work. For 1993 (IMSA) the cars carried a ruby red and white paint scheme (40th anniversary). The cars did not run in SCCA in 1993. In 1994 they ran in a modified red/white/blue scheme in both series. In 1995 the Grand Sport Color scheme was introduced for both series. Power was from a ZR1 engine, tuned to individual series specifications. For 1994, two cars (# 93 and # 94 ran at Daytona and Sebring (IMSA) followed by five races (out of seven) in the SCCA World Challenge. Car # 91 was run only once at Mid-Ohio by Del Percilla. The same two cars ran again in 1995 but with the Grand Sport (blue and white) style paint scheme. The cars ran # 95 and # 96 in IMSA GTS-1 and # 93 and 94 in SCCA. A fourth car (possible new build) ran as # 92 in 1995 for one race with D=Michael Brudenell driving at Road America; this car is thought to be a one-off rather than a re-body of the # 91 (1994) Del Percilla car...but this is still to be confirmed. These cars were also used in the SCCA GT1 (club racing) and NASA circuits. Dale and/or Michael Brudenelll drove # 92 in SCCA GT1 and John Heinricy drove # 94 in several NASA events.
