Where did the comparison take place? Not in the UK I'm guessing.

It was in the American southwest, the majority of the testing done in Southern California. There were some complaints about the GT500 on broken pavement, and the rough ride of the Viper on poor-quality pavement as well... But I can't recall saying stuff about the Z06...

Well there you go, that's why. When it's been tested in the UK they hated it's ride on our roads.

Well, if you're comparing anything to a Viper, it'll seem to ride like a limo...

Are you saying that the 997 GT3 isnt a track monster?

Well, the GT3, by all accounts, is a wonderful track car. But apparently, not a track monster... which is why Porsche felt compelled to strip it down and stiffen it up to the point where it makes almost no sense as a road car, and market it as the GT3RS.

Rumour has it that the Z06 will be getting another price increase next month.

The sales manager at the dealership told me that the Z06 prices are going up again next month.... He told he just got off the phone with his GM rep. Could this be true.... Anybody know how much????


If this is true, it helps the value of our cars....
