From the video source, it says the guy in the Chevy was talking crap. Evidently he was thinking his Chevy was going to have his way with the Dodge Cummins in a tug-off. The Dodge guy takes this waaaay too serious, as you will see. He literally takes this Chevy for a ride. Over the curb, around the store ..... Stupid, just plain stupid. BTW (from the source), a fight broke out afterwards. I wonder why ?

Chevy guy needs new tires after this one, guaranteed they are flat spotted.

Lol Kids with their toys. Buy a real mans truck, not ones designed for chicks. I literally lol'd watching that

What an irresponsible act to put other people's lives and property in danger for the sake of meaningless macho pride.

Fun to watch!

What a stupid pointless exercise in douchebaggery. All this proves is who lost traction first. Hell I've seen a video of a VW Tuareg pulling a Silverado diesel. Doesn't prove anything.

The dude in the Chevy should have just admitted defeat and put it in neutral instead of holding the brakes the entire time and ruining his tires. Now he has to buy a whole new set. He was probably going to use that money to buy more Tapout shirts.

That video of the toureg pulling the silver ado was pretty epic. That made me laugh pretty loud. As far as these guys.....I wish I could've been in the backseat of the chevy to hear his panicked crying during his ride along

Still, this was reckless and stupid. Thank goodness nobody got hurt. I was surprised gasoline Chevyman didn't start throwing bows though.

Seen this! Laughed real good.

It's fake...Want to know how? The Chevy didn't win.

'Merkuh. I love the country, but sadly this is the default image the rest of the world gets...

You'd be surprised how many kids around here are like that. The multitude of douchebags in lifted pickups around here that all hangout at the local coffee shop is ridiculous.

These two guys must have been the smartest guys in their high school graduating class.

If they graduated that is.

Wasting a minute and a half watching that video. Still makes me want to move out of this country... And yes, Maine's just about the same with lifted pickups.

Don't move to Colorado then.

You forgot HILARIOUS.

What happened is the Dodge guy tried to leave then looked back like oh ****, there's a Chevy behind me. So he brought him back like a good samaritan.

Sometimes you gotta put boasters in their places.

I agree that this was extreme, but remember who started trash talking first.

Indeed. They do hold events for this type of "truck playtime". Take it to the events, don't do this in public.

Every "not so good word" in the English language was probably being expressed.

:lol:I was surprised gasoline Chevyman didn't start throwing bows though.

I'm willing to bet that the Chevy sustained some damage, drivetrain, maybe suspension as well .... besides the flat spotted tires @ roughly $300 - $350 ea. or more. :ouch:

That was so nice of him to do so.

I'm still amazed at why the Chevy guy would talk smack against this Dodge. The Chevy is a gasser, maybe it has a chip in it, few other light mods? But that Dodge with the Cummins is far from stock. It's a torque monster, it's obvious to see. It's a no brainer as to who would out tug the other.

Talk smack - get smacked. :dopey:

That Chevy guy obviously slept during his physics and chem class.

Gas vs Diesel in a pulling competition?

It's like a man (gas) vs an Orangutan (Diesel).

I've seen some gassers hold their own to diesels but thats besides the point.

As with everything there are factors like weight, traction, tires, terrain, etc.

And of course the competency of the driver in question.

Agreed. But I hate when people say gassers suck for power as compared to a diesel. It's simply not true.

Now that's funny right there. /Mater.

Edit: In the description they say "the cops almost showed up". How do the police "almost show up" somewhere.

It's much easier to make power with a diesel, and diesels are much more reliable at higher horsepower levels than a gasser, plus diesels have way more torque than gassers so for an average Joe, a diesel is a much better option for a daily drive/play toy.

It's easy to tow with a 700+ horsepower, mechanically injected Cummins, the same can't be said for a gasser.

True, but it is possible for a gasser to do the same. It wouldn't be very practical though as far as gas mileage etc.
