How many days until the comp ends? I'm stuck at 34 miles because I wasn't on much yesterday

Is the time to beat using the retro launch technique ??

Played a bit with it but only at 9.440 at the moment :/

This car is a bit like the Zonda. Set your top speed from 180-182. Launching in 1st comes easier even when 1st and 2nd gear is stretched all the way. So you get 3rd-7th all closer together which gives you a harder pull ;)

Ahh, I was all around that, my transmissions were either 160-168 with second gear launch (my best time) or 190-192 first gear launch, With the 192 transmission 1st and second were probably too far apart and the other trans is probably too tight. Trying again tonight.

Nobody's complained about it so far, might as well. I will when I give up if I beat it or not, emphasis on the not !

I was just wondering, because it is what this competition is after all; beating Karo's times.
 
Nobody would post anything most weeks then :lol:

As said before, it's the closest (or best) time that wins, but it's the taking part that counts... submit what you've got 👍

Well what you’ve done there is submitted a good time... albeit, without a picture ;) There is no such thing as an embarrassing time... far more embarrassing not to compete through fear of what people think IMHO 👍

As I said earlier in this thread, I think a lot of people don't post because they can't get the top time :( I see this comp as being more about an effort to get the most out of a car and not to outdo each other 👍

I couldn't resist driving my SLS. I wanted to see if Karo would make us tune an RX8 Type S but there's a very low chance it will happen :( But hey, it made my R35 TC time .300 faster!
