I try and stay away from toe settings, as I feel I'm solving one problem by generating another one, sort of
But seriously, on most my cars a softer rear helps immensely. I generally have no trouble whatsoever with understeer anymore, as long as I stick to this.
I wasn't aware that the physics were altered from NTCS to PAL (I'm using PAL) though. I think there might be a much bigger difference in how cars seem to react when using a wheel/ds2/d-pad.
I believe firmly in what I say though, cause when I find something that works after months of mediocre results, I definitely notice it.
