I heard there was a way to choose the car in a way when you use a ticket. Kind of like just saving the game to a back up or something, then using the ticket. If you didn't like what you got, you just reloaded the save game or some such like that.

Exactly how is that done? I don't see a good way to reload from a flash drive. Are you literally deleting the old save game file then putting it back? That seems like the only way you could do it to me.

Just wanting to know since I am determined to get that 330 P4 and the 2J within the next century.

Here are the Steps:

1. Copy saved game onto a FAT32 compatible external drive.
2. Start GT5 and open ticket.
3a. If desired car is received, then continue playing the game.
3b. If desired car is not received, quit out of the game and go to "Saved Data Utility (PS3)"
4. Select external drive and select GT5 saved file to copy back onto the PS3.
5. Repeat steps 1, 2, 3b, and 4 until you reach step 3a.

Ah, thank you very much. Very helpful. : )

Now just to finish this Endurance and I'll give it a shot. I've kept all of my tickets until now just to get those two.

Here are the Steps:

1. Copy saved game onto a FAT32 compatible external drive.
2. Start GT5 and SEND GIFTS.
3a. If YOU DIDN'T WANT THE STUFF, then continue playing the game.
3b. If THE STUFF IS WANTED, quit out of the game and go to "Saved Data Utility (PS3)"
4. Select external drive and select GT5 saved file to copy back onto the PS3.
5. NOW YOU HAVE DUPED. .

It is the same basic process to 'dupe' things. You can send between your multiple accounts or trade here on GTPlanet and keep copies of anything you give.

True, I should have mentioned that as well but the OP only asked for how to do a ticket reset.:ouch:

Very slick. I looked for that on here 10 pages back since you know someone's asked it before, but didn't see it. Thanks to both.

Keep in mind though unless you dupe the ticket itself then when you find a car you want you loose the ticket still. I guess maybe thats obvious but figured I would mention that anyhow

The best way to solve that is to have all your tickets on another account, then dupe the ones to your main account and proceed with the usb trick.

Yes, you should be able to pick up what to be desired for you by quitting the game after receiving one which is undesirable to you.
