Where in Norway do you reside ?... We went to Lyngseidet a few years ago for Xmess.. Worst idea ever :-)

That's high up in the North from the sound of it, is it?

I live more in the South, around the fjords 👍

And please, don't come up with porn or sex-related ideas, I'm only 18, she's 17, sex is the least of my interests now...
You're in that elite 0.01% of that teenage market: Advertisers wouldn't know how to advertise to you.

In any case, listen to your girl/woman/wife. She'll tell you, but won't actually tell you. If they complain more than once about something, they want a new one. Easy enough, right? The problem is, we...uh...don't listen to our ladies as much as they think we do, or we think we should. (Unless it's about sex or food.) Right? Right.

Don't buy a woman clothing. Don't buy jewelery, unless you've got lots of dough. Don't buy her something that only you'll use, she'll see right through that, and remind you that for the next 11 months. Don't buy her a video game, unless she's been tugging at your sleeve for one.

Take her for a night on the town, get dressed up and go someplace quiet for dinner. Make excuses why you didn't get a gift. Then surprise her with a real gift, just to make her feel sorry that she was angry at you in the first place.

I think jewewllry is actually pretty fail safe... she's not going to turn her nose up at a simple bracelet or a necklace with a pretty charm. I was given a watch last year which I absolutely loved, simply because it was Matt who gave it to me. I wore it until it literally fell of my wrist (it was only cheap, but I didn't mind - most normal girls airn't as shallow as you all seem to think). Take a look at the kind of jewellry she wears already and go with that theme.. silver vs. gold, chunky vs. delicate, that kinda stuff. You could always get her a locket and put your photo in there :P

Give her something that shows that you put some decent thought into. Personally, I'd get her Jewelry- it lasts a lifetime and you can purchase rather good examples at under $100.
