Thought I'd do a thread to show some of my pics. Will editing this over the next few days.

You can click to see the 1280x720 versions on most of the pictures and also see how good/not so good it really looks.

    Thanks and comments welcome.

I love the second shot of the Dino, but the car is too close to the edge of the frame. I also like the first 911 shot, though again the zoom is too tight.

Thanks MinoltaMan89. Yeah I did those bit close. Think when I first got the game I was looking to try and get the car to look clearer with this compression Forza has. I'll try to avoid that in future. I still do it now trying to get the FM watermark place okay and hide other things.

I'll contact a mod about the old account.

    Cheers guys.

I made a new account as I fancied a name change. I wanted and should've made a new account way back in October when I made my Xbox360 gamertag.

I used noise filter to get a speckle effect and then an old photo filter and adjusted the colour curve that gave it a green tinge.

Holy .... this looks almost real !!! I also often go to the photomode and playing around with the things. Then I often think, why did turn 10 not such lightning in the gameplay? While you can make awesome photos with the options that look almost real does the gameplay lightning looks nothing like that just way too dark. Could it be a hardware problem??

Don't think its a hardware problem more the lighting system you choose and how much time and money you want to spend on graphics and how much of an older game you use to develop from maybe. Higher dynamic lighting does take up resources of course.

Some games use Illuminate Labs like Mass Effect, Gran Turismo 5, Tomb Raider Underworld, Heavenly Sword, Killzone 2, Sony Computer Entertainment games, Valve.

Yeah GT5's lightning from what I've seen looks kinda like the screenshots above... Lighting is I think one of the most important things in the graphics. To make it look real. Forza 3 could look so much better kinda like on the photomode pictures. But they been too lazy or just don't wanted that ... well who knows. GT5 will look like that :)

Its also a hardware problem, thats why the cars in photomode have tons of of more details compared to in-game/replay. But the lighting is one of the biggest factors.

Great pics chromatic, you definitely get the best out of the photomode.

No I'm not Chron0szero. I joined here a few years ago but I see a few Chronos names about lately so I wanted to change.

Cheers for looking Ben. I've seen a few of your pics on fm.net, really like the Porsche one you did - think I know that spot on the Nurb. You should update your thread soon as possible.

I love the rim choice you used for that Charger, and I also like the shots as well as the livery you have for the Ford GT. Great work Chronos.

P.S. On par with Ben, I also thought you were ChronosZero, until I read that part at the top of the page. :p
