Chrome and Stealth Cars?

The stealth cars are painted in a matte black color. Kind of like stealth planes. The chrome cars are, I believe, chrome colored.
 
Yes but what happened to the Chrome and stealth only being available in arcade....

They are available in gtlife! Imo that's much better, but just goes to show you cant trust word until you actually see it.
 
Does this mean ppl are able to have serious high performance cars from the get go? They can use some super stealth 500hp car in beginner mode and I have to use the damn Honda Del Sol?!?!?

Not sure if they're available online (haven't tried yet), but yes, at least my Stealth Mercedes is available in career mode (GT Mode).

But then they did pay £20 / $30 more than you did for the game, so you take your choices.

Quite right. I used the chromeline Murci in some of the beginner races ;)
 
Actually, the stealth cars were available as a pre-order bonus. I didn't pay any more to get mine. :)
 
I ordered the CE edition and got the chrome voucher. They have a special, shiny chrome-like paint job.

They are in my garage, and I guess I could use them for races at the early level, but I haven't tried. I used the M3 on a practice run through Sarthe day/weather change, which was pretty cool, and tried the photo mode with the Mercedes (since photos are premium only), but that's it.
 
Yes, you can use them for early races, but only ones that aren't limited to a particular car type. For example, the McLaren F1 Stealth is only usable in a few of the Beginner races, because of things like the "Japanese Classic" series, FF/FR races (the F1 is MR), etc.

So while you can mow through some races with it, others you still have to do the "old fashioned" way.
 
Will they be available to download from the psn store? I used to buy limited edition games for the extra content but it was always availble from the store afterwards and worked out cheaper than buying the limited edition. This is why I never bought either of the gt editions.

so does the NA Collector's Edition come with the Stealth cars?

collectors edition comes with a voucher to download 5 "chrome line cars" including a lambo murcielago, bmw m3 w competition package, and a few others. Te McLaren F1 you mention is from Gamestop if you preordered either standard or collectors edition. You also received the #20 joey lagano nascar car.
 
I downloaded the Chrome cars, one of which is the Lambo LP 640! My Best Buy bonus car was the Stealth GT_R yikes, it is a beast.

Well i got a problem. If i want to take a ride from my garage, its all good. But when i click on A-Spec events, it says that i have to buy a Premium/Standard car. But i got all the chrome line and stealth cars!! I cant use those cars for anything!!

Does anyone have a solution?

Yeah, it doesn't like it if you try and race without buying a car first (it doesn't register the cars yuo download), but once you have bought one it lets into the race modes and you can use the Chromeline/Stealth cars
 
I have the Chrome and stealth cars (pre ordered at gamestop); but I haven't driven any of the seven cars yet. Sure Ive looked at them in the garage, but I haven't actually driven them yet. Currently I'm level 21 A-spec so I think I'm entitled now, but it just seemed a little unfair to start the game with such an advantage; but that's just the way I play.

I have the chrome line and the gamestop pre-order bonus stealth McClaren (which I haven't received yet cause gamestop won't answer their phone >.<)

I didn't do it the cheap way.. I waited till I hit lvl 10 to unlock them, looking back I wish I had them from the start..but I can't change the past.
